Health MinistryThe Health Ministry Team will be sponsoring a 6 week virtual Journey to Bethlehem.

We will be counting our physical and spiritual activities (in miles) in hope that we as

a congregation can “walk” the 6,457 miles from Omaha/Council Bluffs to the

Bethlehem. You can sign up in the Information Center. Our walk will run from

Sunday, November 15 - Sunday, December 27. The first 100 participants to sign up

AV TrainingWe will be holding an AV training session on Wednesday, November 4, 7:00 p.m. in the life|story

room at the La Vista Site. This is open to anyone who is willing or interested in volunteering for

AV in the life|story service. Amanda Friskopp will be explaining how to work cameras, lights

and screens.

New HorizonsNew Horizons will be celebrating Thanksgiving at their next meeting on Thursday, November 5,

11:30 a.m. in the Upper Fellowship Hall at the La Vista Site. Cost of the meal is $10.00. After our

meal, Mike Jaeger will share his experiences from his mission trip to Big Trout Lake this summer.

L.I.F.T.Save the date!!! We will be meeting on Monday, November 9, 1:00 p.m. in the Upper Fellowship

InstallationRev. Eddie Mekasha will be installed at Beautiful Savior’s part-time Associate Pastor for Mission

Outreach on Sunday, November 8, 3:00 p.m. at the Peace International Friendship Center (3314 S

44 Ave) This service will be a blend of several cultural and traditional forms. Additionally, Pastorth

Jim, Center Director and Sharon Odom, Center Ministry Manager, POBLO missionaries Emad &

Shirleen Tawadrous and all the volunteers will be commissioned. A reception will follow the

service.

China Mission TripThere will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 7:00 p.m. in room 216 at the

La Vista Site for anyone interested in going on a mission trip to Mainland China and Hong

Kong tentatively scheduled for June 16-30. Cost would be around $2500 and would include

air fare, food, accommodations and transportation. Please contact Rob or Tammy Latimer

Spread the WarmthThe City of La Vista will be collecting new or gently used coats, hats and mittens from

November 1 - December 31. All coats donated will be given to La Vista families through

Heartland Family Service. Beautiful Savior is serving as a drop off location. Please place your

coats, hats and mittens in the donation box located in the coat closet.

Parent’s RoomDo you have gently used toys or books that need a new home? Do you have more crayons

and markers than you know what to do with? The Parent’s Room in the back of the Worship

Center is in need of some new toys and other activities for children to use during church

services. We are in need of toys, books, crayons, markers, coloring books, etc for all ages.
