Married to Larry for 15 years. Larry is a tri-county realtor for Real Estate One. Ferndale HS class of 1984. U of M class of 1988

Children: Luca 13 ½ and Gabriela 10

Occupation: Coordinator for 7 years with Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency, a community action agency. I currently work for a federal energy conservation program, Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)

I have been an active PTA/PTO parent at our children's school, Trustee for the N.O.I. Foundation and is an active member in the Italian-American Community.

I really enjoyed the 20th reunion getting reacquainted with old friends like Joelle Roelandt & Erin Reid and hanging out with Thorpe Elementary & Grissom Junior High School classmates as well! Facebook has helped continue contact with everyone since then.

Occupation: I work in the elevator industry as an Account Representative for 15 years. I started with Dover Elevator, which was then bought by ThyssenKrupp Elevator and I worked there until 2005. About 6 years ago I accepted a positive with Schindler Elevator, where I work today.

We spend most of our summer weekends up-north at our cottage on Lake George, near Clare, MI.

We recently built our home in Macomb, prior to that we lived in Chesterfield Township for 9 years.

Married to Lynn for 18 years (June 1993)

We have 5 children – our oldest son Chris is 16, sophomore at SHHS. He is the captain of the boys cross country team and has been on varsity since freshman year. He is currently the top cross country runner at SH. His personal record for the 5k run is 17 minutes, 39 seconds. Our 2nd Anna is 14 a freshman at SHHS. She is in marching band and plays the clarinet. She joined the girls cross country team, but due to an injury couldn't run in any competitions this year. Our 3rd Michael is 13, in 7th grade at Flynn Middle school. He plays the trumpet in the Jazz band. He likes to run track in the spring. Our 4th Mary is 11, in 6th grade also at Flynn. She plays the Clarinet in band and Jazz band. She also likes taking dance classes. Our youngest Kathleen is 7, in 2nd grad at Jefferson Elementary. We have a little white Maltese named Snowball.

Occupation: I work at Grant Ind. As a manufacturing engineer for 25 years. Started about a year after I graduated from SHHS.

Occupation: I work part-time doing accounting work at American Brake and Clutch, Inc. and Pazzi Inc.

When I have some free time I usually take a cooking class, go golfing, work out at the guy or try to get in some traveling. Free time doesn’t seem to happen to often when you have a daughter in travel soccer and another daughter on a dance competition team.

In my free time I enjoy spending time doing anything with my wife, kids and zoo (4 cats/3 dogs). I play ice hockey, DJing parties, playing video games and sometimes playing my drums.

What I remember most about high school was the marching band. Great times with great people

Our daughter Skylar just turned 13 years old, she loves horseback riding, hoping to jump soon

Occupation: Mass Retail, Account Manager for Foster Grant International, for the past 6 years.

We love the outdoors; spending our summers on Lake James, biking, motorcycling, riding quads, playing Euchre and time with our friends. In 2009 I became a European Citizen, we have been to many wonderful countries: Italy, Turkey, Spain and England.

I have two boys, my oldest son is Michael J. DeGrande the 3rd. He is 19 years old and currently attending Saginaw Valley State University. My youngest son is Daniel T., he is 16 years old and is currently attending Sterling Heights High School.

Occupation: I have been working on the quality side of engineering with Ford Motor Company for the past 23 years, employed by TDM a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company

I like to spend my free time at the guy, golfing or bowling.

There isn’t any one person I am looking forward to seeing at the reunion since I didn’t stay in touch with too many people I graduated with. I have to admit it seems like I talk to more people from my class now on face book then I did when I went to high school. I guess as you get older you mature instead of being all caught up in who is who in high school.

In my free time, I love watching sports (especially Michigan Football), golf, hanging out at the beach and boating (when I get a boat)

What I remember the most about SHHS is how huge our class was. I actually met a girl at college orientation, as we talked we realized we went to school together all 3 years and never knew each other. Small world.

I am not able to attend the reunion, but would like to give my best to the SHHS class of 1986. have a great time!

I attended U of M and graduated in 1990 with a double concentration in Psychology & Communications. I moved to Louisville, KY to be with my Mom at the end of her life and stayed for 6 years. I received my Masters of Science in Social Work (MSSW) at the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville, Graduated in 1999 and moved back to Ann Arbor.

After being set up on a blind date by Lisa (Plohetski) Paddock in 2000, I married George. We love attending U of M football, basketball, soccer and hockey games, as well as attending many plays and concerts in Ann Arbor.

In my fee time I like to go fishing, firewood and football

I remember being a guitar player for various bands. Jazz band with Mr. Hasbacher and electronics with Mr Denhard. I remember the smoking area, open lunches and carrying a pocket knife to school (Mr Denhard even borrowed it from time to time). I remember having much longer hair ;)

Most of the people I knew well were in different grades. Chris St Onge was older. Derrick Wolf and Chris Rea were in bands with me. Dave Golus was younger.

I am retired and disabled I currently own my own business as an Independent Consultant with Tastefully Simple. Interests: Reading, play Pogo, facebook, travel, cook and play with our dogs

Best memories: several teachers and will never forget the camp counselors who got to go camping with 6th graders for a week. That was a lot of fun. My partner was Art Tacderas. I would like to forget all the times I dropped by books & lost homework assignments LOL

I was not able to attend the reunion, I would look forward to seeing everyone, to see how they changed and what they are doing. I lost contact with a lot of my friends that I hung around, as we got older, moved on to other things and people. I really hope everyone has a fantastic time. I will be thinking of all the fun you are having, while I bask in the sunshine of the Caribbean islands.

I have two wonderful kids Rachel and Sean.

Occupation: I have a stable job with the federal government and also teach as a university instructor. I earned a PhD in Information Systems in 2008 and am happy pressing buttons in various combinations which afford me a great living.

We are busy with all sorts of family activities and I am also keeping up with my health, career and friends. In my spare time, I travel, work out, flyRC helicopters, (try to) make cool websites and make a mean batch of Strawberry Wine.

I had my fair share of ups and downs but am thankful to God for all the wonderful things in my life including great people.

We own the Bella Vista Inn/Sunset Bay Resort in Caseville (www.bella-caseville.com), the Rose Garden Senior Living Center in Pigeon (www.rosegardenseniorliving.com) as well as 70 rental properties. We also own the Farm Restaurant in Port Austin (www.thefarmrestaurant.com) where my wife is also the Executive Chef.
