• Challenge – A levels are not suppose to be easy. There will be days when the work seems too hard and your child is tired and dispirited.
• Partnership between us all – we will work with your child and their family to support them fully. They are never alone.
Sixth Form work • All work is completed with 100% effort• Take pride in the presentation of their work• Label C/W and H/W in the margin• AMDG on the top of all work• THUD (Title Handwriting Underline Date)• Organisation of folders – one per teacher• Every lesson they must bring their folder and text
books
Beyond the lesson
• No such thing as a free period – when they are not in lessons they will be studying
• Independent learning beyond the classroom – study room and at home
• They will always have something to do• Those who were previously successful – plan your
day, be here early and be prepared to stay late
