These assessments are used to measure student mastery of standards.
Summative grades are posted in Parent Portal. These grades will serve as the culminating report card grade.
• The Grading Scale A = 90 - 100 B = 80 - 89 C = 70 - 79 F = Below 70

Tests = 2.0 Projects = 2.0 Quizzes = 1.5 Daily Grades =

Retake Policy• Student may retake any summative test for math, reading, and ELA only.
• Retakes are not allowed for social studies and science. Extra credit will be offered at the teacher’s discretion.
• They must first complete recovery work at the discretion of the teacher in order to earn a retake test.
• Retakes are completed during study
hall to prevent loss of instructional time.
HomeworkStudents will have approximately 1
hour of homework each day, including 20 minutes of “free choice” reading.
Daily assignments should be record nightly in your child's agenda. Agendas should NOT be blank.
