right skills 2. Take stock –how and why do you want to do
international 3. Take advantage – of study and work abroad programs 4. Take your hunt on the road – shut computer, go get in
their faces 5. Take down the pile – don’t build too big a pile of small

What I was really doing • While I was following the lead of others, I stumbled
upon the best way to get a great job • It’s much easier to build a strong reputation with those
around you than to strangers through a cover letter • I had earned the respect of those who saw potential
and challenged me to become better. By doing so, they were willing to vouch for me
Key Lessons 1. Don’t let weaknesses discount your strengths 2. Put yourself in a position to be challenged 3. Give a 100% effort, you’ll be amazed at what you can
do 4. Hard work does not go unnoticed
