● Provide official documentation upon return to the front office for our records (ex: doctor’s note, college visit email, etc)

● Parents are notified once a student accumulates 5, 8, & 10 absences per course.

● Upon 10 absences in a semester, a student may not receive credit for courses.

Vehicle Registration - Student Parking Passes

Due to the minimal amount of parking on the UA Little Rock campus and the continued growth of both the eStem and UALR student population, there will be a fee for parking in University Plaza from now on.

Cell Phone Policy● No Cell Phones visible in eHS Building

○ Cell phones must be put away, out of sight, and turned off. Smart watches may be worn but must be on airplane mode.

○ We see it, we take it.■ Refusal to turn in a device when requested will result

in an automatic Send Home.○ Confiscated phones must be picked up and signed for

by a parent/guardian.○ Cell phones may be used outside of the building in the

blue zone during lunch.

Cell phones have to be put away in backpacks, purse, and locker. They must be out of sight and turned off.

If cell phones, headphones, earbuds, or bluetooth devices are seen, they will be confiscated.

Shirts and Blouses● All shirts and blouses must have sleeves.● Clothing with low-cut necklines and clothing that exposes

the midriff are not permitted.● Camisoles, spaghetti strapped shirts, tank tops, and

halter tops are not permitted.● Clothing with offensive or suggestive slogans or

advertisements is not permitted.

Pants, Shorts, and Skirts● Jeans with holes and torn or patched clothing of any

kind exposing skin are not permitted. ● Leggings and yoga pants are not permitted.● Baggy clothing and clothes that sag or fall below the

waistline are not permitted.● Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be to the fingertips or

longer.

Miscellaneous ● Neither hats, hair bonnets, du-rags, headgear,

sunglasses, nor bandanas of any color may be worn inside the building.

● Flip-flops & thong sandals are not permitted. ● Crocs, slippers/house shoes, shoes that resemble

house shoes and shoes with wheels are not permitted.

Any student out of dress code will be asked to change into school appropriate clothing. If appropriate clothing cannot be produced in a timely manner, the nurse will provide a blue t-shirt or blue sweatpants (or both) to the student to change into.

The clothes the student originally wore to school will be given back once the student returns the items issued by eStem High.

behind jackets.○ Intentionally hiding your ID Badge will result in progressive

discipline. ○ Students from eStem Junior High will use yearbook picture.○ New students to eStem district get picture made before

August 1st by Mr. Newton in Donaghey Student Center, Room 114.

★ If student does not have his/her ID Badge, the student will be escorted by a staff member to purchase a lunch and then report back to the designated location inside the eHS building.
