How animals and plants have adaptedto the diversity of ecosystems and the human and natural impact on these ecosystems.

Student-planned and led excursion to Brisbane City CBD

Identify key locations of historical significance to Brisbane, (Commissariat Stores,

Town Hall etc.) linking to our units of work on Post-colonialism era

Homework

Different in every class in terms of due dates, content and format.

Teachers will spend time explicitly teaching homework expectations and

communicate these to parents.

Intended to be an activity to build responsibility and reinforce class learning.

All classes agree that homework will be:

Daily reading

Number facts and problem solving

Literacy and language practice

Homework will not be:

Hours upon hours– see your teacher if it is too difficult

Any new content

Opt-in or out– it is an essential skill for organisation and practice
