School Books Library
We will visit the library each Thursday at 10:00. Each student may check out two books to leave at school or take home with them. Each book must be returned in order to check another book out.
Textbooks/Workbook Second grade students will be using multiple
workbooks for reading and math. These books will be used both in class and at home.
Students will also receive textbooks that will be returned at the end of the year. These books will not go home

Grading The students will be graded as follows:
E-Emerging (Needs a lot of guidance) DV-Developing (Needs some guidance, but
gaining independence) P-Proficient (Independent) DS-Distinguished (Independent and can teach
others) Parents are required to attend two parent
teacher conferences each year. One will be held in December, and another in March.
