The School Day – Week Two onwards

9.00am School starts

P1 Class Structure

Maximum class size for P1 is 25.

P1 – 25 pupilsP1/2 – 5 pupils at P1 and 20 pupils at P2

Circumstances to consider when forming classes:

• Physical, emotional or psychological development• Previous learning record• Sibling rivalry• Peer group relationships• Balance between boys and girls• Previous discussions with parents

What about Gym?

Children will have 2 sessions of gym per week.

Every Friday with Mrs Halcrow, PE Specialist.Once a week with the class teacher.

Playtime Arrangements

Playtime will be from 10.30am until 10.45am.

‘Buddies’ from P6/7 will assist in the playground.

We encourage healthy snacks for playtime.

What if it rains?

Lunch Time Arrangements

Lunch time is from 12.15pm until 1.00pm.Children pre-order school meals in the morning.

School meals cost £1.80 per day.

Come and try the school lunch on Thursday 13th June.
