Happy Mother’s Day
“If you put all the love of all the mothers into one heart, it still would not
equal the love of the Heart of Mary for her children.” St Louis de Montfort
Eucharistic Adoration
The Diocese of Steubenville, and Franciscan University are teaming up to offer
Eucharistic adoration beginning at 9am Wednesday, May 6th. It will be open to the
public at the University’s Finnegan Fieldhouse on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays
and Fridays from 9am to 4pm and Thursdays from 1pm to 7pm.
Diocese of Steubenville Bishop Jeffrey M. Monforton said he is grateful for
the collaboration between the diocese and the university because the fieldhouse
allows the greatest ease for social distancing, adding, “The Eucharist is a sacrament
of love; the Lord welcomes us, as together, we worship him in solidarity and in
communion of faith.”
The fieldhouse is often used for large liturgical gatherings at Franciscan and can
accommodate State of Ohio social distance guidelines. A number of chairs will be
placed six-feet apart throughout the fieldhouse. There can only be one person per
chair, and chairs may not be moved.
There is no need to sign up since Franciscan University will make sure at least
one adorer is present every hour.
This will be the only designated location in the Diocese of Steubenville
for Eucharistic adoration.
St. Peter Church is open for private prayer in the Presence of Our Lord in the tabernacle (use side entrance by rectory) these hours:
Monday – Tuesday & Thursday – Saturday (8am – 5pm) Wednesday (8am – 7:30pm)
Sunday (9:30am – 5pm)
The Confession schedule remains the normal schedule: (Wednesday 6:30pm-7:30pm and Saturday 2pm-3:30pm)

underway. Our goal this year is $51,555.00.

15,810.00 to the 2020 campaign. This amount
has our parish short of our goal by $35,745.00.
Please remember all monies over our goal come
back to our parish and we need this rebate
money to help with our regular expenses.
