The WELLfest Expo began in 2011 with one vision, to bring together a “village” dedicated to health and wellness; an expo focused on providing options and education to assist people in making informed choices as they journey to better wellbeing.

Bringing together exhibitors, entertainment, key speakers and free seminars, this Wellness Expo is an event recognising health and wellness is not “one size fits all”. WELLfest embraces that we are each unique and therefore have our own interpretation of whatbeing healthy means.

So, by offering New Zealand’s very first “West meets East, North and South” expo, WELLfest is offering our community theopportunity to explore traditional, complementary, holistic and natural modalities, all in one open, friendly and safe environment.

Exceptional Health™ ... at WELLfest

Following his whirlwind book release in America and Canada, Jason Shon Bennett has fast become one of New Zealand's leading health mentors.

After years of extensive health research and writing, Jason hasrecently launched "Eat Less, Live Long", a book which chronicles what he learnt from the world’s oldest and healthiest people – including their secrets to youthful vitality and longevity.

Jason recently joined forces with the WELLfest series of health and wellness expos, and will be presenting at each of their nationalexpos staged throughout 2014.

Jason shares the story of his own journey - facing life as an ‘incur-able’ and determining to find the knowledge to rebuild his body. He began researching, reading, and experimenting with his health, and refused to believe he was destined to live an unwell life purely because his genes dictated it. He discovered the fundamental an-swer lay in his food and lifestyle choices. Within 4 years Jason had completely cured himself and is still free of illness and medication 20 years later.

Today Jason entertains audiences both in NZ and overseas with his seminars on longevity inspired by food and exercise. He does not stop at the ‘why’ but continues into the ‘how’, sharing secrets on sensible fasting practices as well as a wide range of vegetarian recipes.

Born and bred in New Zealand, he is a dynamic speaker who intro-duces humour and levity, while delivering the facts on a very serious subject – our health.

New in 2014

The value of good health and positive wellness has a different meaning for everyone.

As adults we make assumptions on our childrens needs, some of which will be right; some of which will be wrong.

Children’s mind are like sponges and it is this time in their lives they begin to create habits - good and bad - that will take them into their future. By teaching these “sponges” with positivity and fun, we teach our children to seek wellness - and seek it in a way which meets their needs!

With so much at stake for these young lives, WELLfest decided that our kids deserve their own zone. So, this year we introduce the Kids Zone, where our younger audience will experience exhibitors, semi-nars and entertainment at their level.

Who knows where a balance body and mind will lead ...

A Focus on Education

By continuing to offer our free seminars this year, WELLfest again puts a focus on offering quality education and professional information.

Put simply, the WELLfest goal is not about having perfect health and wellness, it’s about

having exposure to the mix of opportunities; it’s about providing learning opportunities to our audience and helping them understand the options; and it’s about taking the next step on the journey of life.

Whether it be a simple change to more holistic wellness or a con-scious decision to benefit from natural products, it’s all there for the taking.

Accordingly, 2014 brings a wonderful mix of speakers who will present on some of the different modalities and products that are available.

TestimonialsSupporting our Community

WELLfest is very proud to help support some of our valued community groups and nonprofit organisations.

By offering three free sites per expo, plus additional discounted sites, we help provide great exposure to groups who may otherwise not have this kind of opportunity.

We strongly believe that there is a time and place in our society for all of the community organisation; each one has a valuable message to offer and facilitate support to those in need.

2013 saw WELLfest supporting Women’s Refuge, Victim Support and McCosh to name a few. In 2014 McCosh again join us with their invaluable diabetes screening and blood pressure checks.

This year we welcome Kidney Kids to the WELLfest family; Kidney Kids is national support group for families and children with kidney disorders.
