• Scope: Drive the understanding and implementation of CIM-based message exchange to support efficient and effective communication while establishing a forum for the sharing of such information as well as best practices for exchange of CIM-based information

EAI WG• Activities limited to breakout sessions during Users Group meetings.

• Trying to get some traction, generate interest, and come up with real issues and real solutions

– Determine how to get traction outside of User Group Meetings

– Fact: each time we have had interesting and fruitful meetings and break out sessions

– Please provide ideas or suggestions to Andre or Harry

• 2 possible directions for the group:

– Exchange best practices and difficulties in using CIM and be a source of request and issues for the various TC57 working groups

– Contribute to finalize the methodology to derive messages

• Mission:– Formalize definition of CIM Compliance– Define standard compliance testing program,

including procedures and tools, documented as CIM Compliance Quality Program.

– Status: Submitted for comments to WG13 / WG 14 in Spring 2007.

– Editorial comments received September 2007.

– Revised version to be published on CIMug Web Site

• Progressing CIM Quality Program: Need for compliance validation testing tools
