Practical Pediatrics CME CoursesDesigned for pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants caring for children, Practical Pediatrics CME Courses feature nationally prominent faculty presenting topics that highlight current issues in pediatrics. Each course combines lectures, interactive seminars, and question-and-answer sessions to allow you the opportunity to interact directly with faculty in solving the problems you encounter in everyday practice.
ObjectivesBy attending a Practical Pediatrics CME Course, you will:• Update your knowledge of clinical issues by reviewing hot topics and recent practical advances for your office.• Increase your ability to diagnose and manage patients in your practice by analyzing and discussing cases with the
faculty and your peers.
Why You Should Attend a Practical Pediatrics CME Course• Weekend courses with half-day sessions combine CPD with relaxation and recreation at great destinations.• Top-quality education and an opportunity to talk directly with expert faculty provide current and practical pediatric
information to take back to your office and use right away.• Interactive, case-based sessions offer expert guidance about situations you encounter in practice.• Hot-topic discussions cover the latest in pediatric medicine.• Earn MOC Part 2 Points! Registrants who attend an entire Practical Pediatrics CME Course can earn 17 MOC Part 2
Points by successfully completing online pre- and post-course self-assessment tests. Instructions will be provided to registrants by e-mail approximately two weeks before each course begins.
Concurrent Seminar SelectionYou can attend one concurrent seminar each day in the subspecialty of your choice. To allow more informal interaction with the faculty, attendance in each seminar is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation of your concurrent seminar registrations will be included in your on-site registration packet. See a complete list of concurrent seminars for each course at shop.aap.org/live-activities.
Electronic Course SyllabusThe syllabus for all 2018 Practical Pediatrics CME Courses will be available to all attendees online for download in advance of the course. If you would like to receive a printed copy of the syllabus, it can be ordered for $50 by the course’s early bird deadline and will be available for pick up at the AAP course registration desk. A limited number of syllabi will be available for purchase on-site for $75, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

Disclosure Of Financial Relationships And Resolution Of Conflicts Of InterestThe AAP Policy on Disclosure of Financial Relationships and Resolution of Conflicts of Interest is designed to ensure quality, objective, balanced, and scientifically rigorous AAP CME activities. All individuals in a position to influence and/or control the content of AAP CME activities are required to disclose to the AAP and subsequently to learners that they either have no relevant financial relationships or any financial relationships with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) and/or provider(s) of commercial services discussed in CME activities. All potential conflicts of interest are identified and resolved prior to an individual’s confirmation of service at an AAP CME activity. Beyond disclosure of financial relationships, AAP CME faculty are required to disclose to the AAP and to learners when they plan to discuss or demonstrate pharmaceuticals and/or medical devices and/or medical or surgical procedures that involve “off-label” use of a device or pharmaceutical.
