WHAT IS ACC FLEET SAVER?

At ACC, we aim to make New Zealand’s roads safer. And to encourage this, we’ve created ACC Fleet Saver, an audited health and safety programme that promotes best practice for businesses that own heavy goods vehicles.

ACC Fleet Saver is designed to motivate businesses like yours to go beyond compliance on the roads and in the workplace. It’s intended specifically for businesses with five or more heavy goods vehicles each weighing more than 3500kg.

ACC FLEET SAVER IS GOOD FOR YOUR BUSINESS IN MANY WAYS:

• By having good safety practices in place, you’ll reduce workplace injuries

• You can increase workplace efficiency and productivity

• Safe driving reduces fuel consumption and vehicle wear and tear

• By putting good fleet safety practices in place, you’ll reduce fleet maintenance

• Your safe practices will reduce road accidents and traffic infringements, buildingyour reputation as a leader in keeping New Zealand’s roads safe.

GIVE YOUR BUSINESS A VISIBLE ADVANTAGE

There are three levels of ACC Fleet Saver accreditation through which your business can progress, from entry level Bronze to Silver and Gold. A particular level may be more appropriate to your specific business than the others, but all carry the same prestige.

Depending on the level your business achieves, you’ll receive either Bronze, Silver or Gold accreditation badges for each vehicle in your fleet.
