Hair loss or baldness, as we know it commonly, and technically

known as alopecia, is a loss of hair from the head or body.

Baldness can refer to general hair loss or androgenic alopecia

(male pattern baldness or female pattern baldness). The average

adult head has about 100,000 to 150,000 hairs and loses up to

100 of them a day. The various reasons can be Hormonal Factors,

Medicines or Drugs, Medical Reasons and Stress.

6

You may have heard that stress can cause hair loss, and it’s true.

Excessive physical or emotional stress, can cause one of two types

of hair loss:

The more common type is called telogen effluvium. With this

less severe type of hair loss, the hair stops growing and lies

dormant, only to fall out 2 or 3 months later. Then it grows back

within 6 to 9 months.

The other type of stress-induced hair loss is known as alopecia

areata, and involves a white blood cell attack on the hair

follicles. With this type of hair loss, the hair also falls out within

weeks (usually in patches), but can involve the entire scalp and

even body hair. Hair may grow back on its own, but treatment

may also be required.

At Lazderma Clinique, for hair fall & thinning, we follow, Regrowth

Treatment and is taken care through the following procedures:

Stress can lead to dull skin. When you’re dealing with stress, your body

releases the stress hormone—cortisol—into your bloodstream. This

causes an increase in oil production, which can lead to oily skin, acne,

and rashes. A study in the January 2001 Archives of Dermatology found

that stress had a negative effect on the barrier of skin, resulting in

water loss and a reduced ability for the skin to repair itself.

9

Reduce your stress levels by exercise, meditation and calming music

Wear sunscreen even in winters

Eat a healthy diet like leafy greens, fruits & vegetables, whole grains

and healthy fats like olive oil.

Get enough sleep as lack of sleep can lead to dark circles under your

eyes. Sleep helps recharge your body. Try to stick to a regular bedtime

and do something relaxing beforehand like yoga or aromatherapy.

Hydrate as much as you can. Drink enough water to flush

impurities from your body, which can help keep skin clear

Bacteria from your hands can stimulate an acne outbreak,

especially when you’re stressed. So, keep your hands away from

your face

Commit to a daily skin-care regimen. Just five minutes morning

and night to cleanse, tone, and hydrate can make a big

difference!

Last but not the least, try Facial Instant Glow @ Lazderma

Clinique.
