What is RSciTech? Registered Science Technician (RSciTech) is a brand new award to provide recognition for those working in technical roles.

My work background

• Began in 1974 in path lab

• Studied Medical Microbiology

• 16 years in 11-18 education

• 10 years in Education Faculty at MMU

To keep the award you need to send a CPD return to the licensing body every year.

This can include internal or external training, reading and research, coaching and mentoring - anything that adds to your own personal learning in your role.

There will also be a small fee every year to be re-awarded. (£20 in ASE case)
