Choosing a degree in Computing & System Development at BETS was a

perfect fit for my career and long term interest. BETS truly is a

supportive learning community where I always had someone to turn to

for help, whether it be a teacher, an adviser, or another student. BETS

gets students to learn, apply and internalize concepts at an efficient

and effective rate instead of just memorizing them. I was selected

among top 30 candidates out of 5500 at Regional Round and then

among 15 candidates at National Round in National Contest Of Middle

East Huawei ICT Skill Competition - Pakistan. I studied the theory and

pillars of IT which provided me with many opportunities to apply hands

on experience with real technology. BETS is doing a great job in

establishing industry relationship with local companies of all sizes,

which in return provides students with professional experience

through industry internships and in class projects involving real

customers and industry professionals.

Launched in 1997 by 5 prestigious UK colleges and training institutes, British

Education & Training Systems (BETS) was the first organization to bring British

education to Pakistan. In the past two decades, BETS has helped young people

focus on their professional and personal development by introducing different

courses in the fields of business, computing, english and fashion.

We believe that in addition to attaining professional degrees it is essential for our youth to have vocational skills so they can have better chances of employment. For this purpose, BETS focuses not only on theoretical concepts but also imparts practical skills and training to provide strong foundations for a successful and prosperous career.

About BETS

The Higher National Diploma at BETS is an internationally accredited & recognized qualification through Edexcel Pearson International, the largest international awarding body approved by the UK government, and by educational institutions worldwide.

Minimum requirement for HND at BETS is intermediate (FA / ICom / ICS / FSc / A Levels). Admission decisions are the right of BETS alone.

HND at BETS is a 2 year programme but can be completed within 5 years. BETS Business & Computing school has a semester system (semester is over a period of 6 months), offering maximum 5 units per semester. There are total 4 semesters. The 4th Semester requires learners to do an internship (mandatory) and to prepare an internship report in order to receive the certificate of qualification.

Year 1, the emphasis is on the application of knowledge, skills, understanding, and use of conventions in the field of study, use of analytical skills and selection and organization of information.Year 2, the emphasis is on application and evaluation of contrasting ideas, principles, theories and practices, greater specialization in the field of study and an increasing independence in systematic enquiry and analysis.

QUALIFICATION DETAILS

After the HND at BETS, we provide a variety of pathways including:

1) RQF 6 UK University BBA / BSCS Top-Up in the UK, here at BETS, or

2) UK University BBA / BSCS Top-Up in the UK / Canada / USA / Malaysia /

Australia, or

3) Pakistani BBA / BSCS Top-Up at a local Pakistani University, or

4) RQF 7 Post Graduate Extended Diploma in Management, providing

exemptions for MBA / MIT.
