What technology did I use?

Camera Work

• During my production I took several images. I drafted the type of images I was

hoping to take and then continued to plan photo shoots which let to the

development of some of the photos below.

I varied my use of image types such as wide shots and close-ups in order to show the emotions of the artist and also the use of location.

My photography improved throughout the production as I changed small aspects of the photos such as the location and use of lighting to make them most effective.

AnimotoI used animoto in order to make short visual videos which promoted the most important elements of the magazine and what they represent.

Firstly I chose a theme most suited to my genre of music. I then clicked on ‘design a 30 second video’ where I was able to add my own images and add text. I used key words to highlight the key elements of my magazine.

Popplet

I used popplet at the start of some of my questions to mind map the key elements to what I was researching. It visually showed my audience what is magazines are manufactured by IPC media and also the stereotypical conventions associated with the rock/indie genre.

PowerPoint and slide share. I used power point throughout my evaluation. This was too break up largely informative sections to my evaluation. In order to put them on my blog I had to use slide share. I had never used slide share before so this developed my skills.

Publisher

I used publisher to design my magazine. It allowed me to crop and remove the colour from fonts I found on font space.
