The Meaning of Baptism

New Life in Christ

Baptism washes away Original sin (our inherited separation from God) + all past sins . Free from original sin, you can now receive Christ in the sacraments. Without baptism, you cannot receive any other sacraments.

Is it necessary?• Mk 16:15After his resurrection, Jesus said to the apostles:“Go into the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned”. WHY?- you need to be baptised, to enter heavenbecause you cannot enter heaven with any sin, and baptism washes sin away.
