语法小结:情态动词 Should
( 1 ) 表示意见、请求和建议,显得较为委婉、谦逊。例如:1) I should say it would be better to try it again.
2)The red one looks nice, but it cost $40. The blue one is ok,
and it’s only $30. I think you should get the blue one.
( 2 ) should 还具有相当于汉语“应该”的意思。例如: 1 ) We should complete our test in time.
2 ) You shouldn’t be so careless.
3) ---Wait a minute. Something is wrong.
----What do you mean?
---Here, count these cards. We should have fifty- two,
but there are only fifty.
( 3 ) should 与 ought to 表示“应该……时,二者可通用,但 ought to 后面一定要接带 to 的不定式。语气也比 should 强。例如: 1) I should study hard.= I ought to study hard.

had better 相当于一个助动词,它只有一种形式,它后面要跟动词原形。 had better do sth
