Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) scholarship.
• All application procedures for the MEXT scholarships are conducted through
Japanese embassies, consulates in your countries, or institutions of higher
education in Japan.
• Priority areas: Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Bangladesh
• China, Taiwan, the U.K, etc are not eligible for the application

• One‐off up to 1 million JPY
• Condition: 5 or more students and 1 or more members of faculty from a
overseas sister university, staying 7 or more days for the visit.
• Coverage: air tickets and hotel fees, etc, usually not including meal bills.
• Exceeded expenses must be paid by the visitors
