Which State Am I?

I am located in the Mid-West region of the United States.

Which State Am I?

I have a generally humid and moderate continental climate. Winters are cold and summers hot, but mild weather occurs, also.

I entered the Union on Aug. 10, 1821, as the 24th state.

I have 2 major cities, located on the east and west border, Kansas City and St. Louis.

• Hunting, fishing, camping, and boating are popular recreation pastimes.

• Branson has many country-music theaters.• The Ozark region has many scenic gorges, caverns,

and large lakes, which offer plenty of opportunities for recreational activities.

• Missouri also maintains 79 state parks and historic sites.

• Among the most popular of these is Mark Twain State Park in southeast Missouri.

• The village of Florida, is the birthplace of the author Mark Twain.
