Dear Friends, We hope that you have all had a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones and that you are keeping warm this winter season!

We wanted to kick off 2012 with a bang and decided to bring you a surprise mini edition of the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine. In this issue, we are showcasing some of the beautiful creations that our design team has cre-ated using the new images, sentiments, and dies that were released on Janu-ary 18. We also wanted to take a little bit of time to look back at the wonder-ful year of Whimsy Stamps products that we released in 2011 by bringing back some of our favorite creations from last year. Why Iris chose this card: My absolute favorite card I made in 2011 is definitely “Giraffe’s in Love”! I LOVE these animals and whenever I can I visit our local zoo (of course I have an an-nual pass ;-) ) where you can feed and pet these gentle giants. They have the most beautiful big brown eyes! So no wonder when I saw this stamp by Crissy Arm-strong that I fell in-stantly in love with it.

Why this is Marilyn’s favorite Whimsy creation: Here is one of my favourite digi creations for 2011 because it was the first card I made as a new Whimsy digi designer and I was so thrilled to have been asked to join the team. I like polar bears and this image is a ‘feel-good’ one because of the way Mama bear is happi-ly holding Baby who is snuggled in and content.

Why Ellie chose this card: I love how the cute image looks like it's framed in the cen-ter of the card, and how it stays the main focal point. The colors of white, silver and blue that I used I are also my favorite to use for wintery cards.

Why Stephanne chose this card: This was my first card of the new year, when all the pressure of Christmas was behind us. I love the image and the contrast of white on white with the rich red and green. It's something I can only rarely achieve, as I tend to over-load everything with distress inks.

Why Patricia chose this card: I like this card because when I was a little girl my mom would take my sister and me to circus and it was one of the happiest child Hood memories I have. My moth-er would struggle to save money for the Circus, Living in Mexico we didn't have many trips that my mom could afford.
