Assembly

At last week’s Assembly the students were presented with their Awards from the Arts Competition held during the 2019 Gem Fest and Car Boot Sale. Congratulations to Abby Ker who won the Peoples Choice for Children’s Art and Alexis Hayes who won the Adults section.

Tracky Dack Day

Thank you to everyone who donated money for Tracky Dack Day last Friday. We raised $69.

Special Award

Last week was SASS week (School Administrative and Support Staff) and Miss Sarah received a Special Award for her work as School Administration Manager at White Cliffs Public School.

Dental Van

The RFDS Dental Van will be visiting the school next Wednesday and Thursday. Please fill out the attached Consent Forms and return to school by next Monday.

Leave

I will be on leave 5th, 6th, 9th September, Miss Jo will be in charge on 5th and Ms Krivoshev on 6th and 9th. Mrs Ashby will also be teaching on 5th.

Cooler Classrooms

As part of the Cooler Classrooms project, contractors will be working at school over the next two weeks to replace some of our air conditioners.

Power Up in Wilcannia

Ms Krivoshev, Miss Sarah and students in Years 3-6 will be travelling to Wilcannia on Tuesdayand Wednesday to attend hands on workshopsaround technology. Please see the attachedPermission Note and return to school tomorrow.

Film Making

Students began filming this week as part of Science and Technology. They will need to be in the same clothes as they came to school in today. Also hair and any other accessories will need to be worn the same way everyday as well. If the weather changes, and students need to wear warmer or cooler school uniform, they will still need to bring their ‘film clothes’ in a bag to school to change into before filming.
