Unlike other redwood forests, there are

no restrictions on size of group or motor

coaches. Ample parking is available and

permits to visit are not needed. Complimentary

train fare and meals are provided for tour

escorts and drivers. Roaring Camp is located

adjacent to Henry Cowell Redwoods State

Park. A stop by their Visitor Center is a

great addition to every Roaring Camp visit.

Minimum of 40 purchased train tickets required to add a non-scheduled diesel train to Bear Mountain. Minimum of 200 purchased train tickets required to add a non-scheduled Beach Train. A 50% deposit must accompany your reservation 30 days prior to event date. Balance is due upon arrival. Upon arrival at Roaring Camp, one person must act as group representative to pick up group’s tickets, reconcile reservation, and make final payment. Tour group should arrive at Roaring Camp at least 20 minutes before first scheduled activity. Complimentary train fare and meals are provided for tour escort and driver when group pays for tickets and meets all minimum requirements. Parking is $10 per car. Motor coach parking is free with group train reservations.
