Why are some people strongly against tattoos? Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen. Today I would like to discuss the reasons why some people are strongly against tattoos. There are many facts that can contribute to object decorating bodies in that way. Let me present three of them. First, negative connotations with tattoos. Second, medical consequences of inking our bodies. Third, fact that they are permanent. First of all, we all rest our judgments on associations and stereotypes. It’s natural and inscribed in human perception of the world. For many people, there is evident connection between tattoos and prison. They associate inked up people with criminals and dregs of society. The majority of employers is still unwilling to engage people with tattoos, as even small drawings at the skin may cause customer’s aversion to employees. Moreover, making tattoos may turn out to be dangerous. We should be aware, that interfering in our outlook sometimes threatens in serious consequences. The most terrifying perspective is that we can become infected with hepatitis or HIV virus as a result of unsterilized tattoo parlour. Other dangers are anaphylactic shock, caused by an allergic reaction to ink, or nerve injury which may result even in paralysis. Finally, there is another fact that may scare off making a tattoo: they are permanent. It is something that you have to live with for the rest of your life.

Its natural and inscribed in human perception of the world. For many people, there is evident connection between tattoos and prison. They associate inked up people with criminals and dregs of society. The majority of employers is still unwilling to engage people with tattoos, as even small drawings at the skin may cause customers aversion to employees. Removing them is difficult and expensive as it means a surgery or laser tattoo removal. If you dont want to get rid of your pride, you should be aware that it will be changing. When you put on weight, it may deform and loose its original shape. In conclusion, tattoos are getting more and more popular. But there is some deeply rooted belief that we should associate inked up people with criminals which impedes changing our perception of this issue. Some people are strongly against tattoos because they can bring about many diseases like hepatitis or they are terrified with the consciousness that inks will remain on their bodies forever.
