The professional degree is a master’s level or doctorate degree.

There are a few professional degrees that require only bachelor’s degree training.

Most professional degrees will require a fairly extensive education.

Some require training after education is finished in order to become licensed.

MD or medical doctorate

DO or Doctor of Osteopathy

JD or Juris Doctor (Degree in law)

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

Of the 20 fastest growing occupations in the economy, half are related to healthcare.

Healthcare is growing rapidly due to aging of baby-boomer generation.

A baby boomer is a person who was born during the Post-World War II baby boom between 1946-1964.

Seventy-six million American children were born between 1945 and 1964.

Two of the fastest growing occupations are in the computer specialist occupational group: Network systems and data communications analysts.

Increasing demand is due to organizations continue to update and incorporate new technologies.

Growing reliance on wireless network will result in need of more system and data analysts.
