EUA was the architect of record for Bayshore Town Center, a project that transformed an existing, big-
box mall located in Glendale, Wisconsin into a thriving lifestyle center. The new hybrid village combines
traditional indoor mall space with outdoor lifestyle shops and restaurants. In addition to retail and dining,
the mixed-use development also includes a theater, health club, office space, residential condominiums and
apartments, multiple parking decks, two freestanding pavillions and a central square.
The completed development consists of more than 1,200,000 square feet and was created in the tradition
of great lifestyle centers such as Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Located in Milwaukee’s Historic Brewers Hill, these 56 luxury loft-style condominiums offer breathtaking
views of Milwaukee’s downtown skyline and the Milwaukee River. Once a shoe warehouse, the design takes
advantage of the historical character of the building, exposing the heavy timber construction and original
brick walls.

become a catalyst for the city’s ongoing urban resurgence and a wonderful destination for Milwaukee’s
residents, workers, and visitors.
EUA was responsible for designing a variety of interior and exterior improvements to the mall that
accomodated major retailers along with small shop retailers and mall services. EUA also provided tenant
coordination services for general retailers and food court tenants.

EUA planned and designed the complete recreation of the former Capitol Court Shopping Center, now known
as Midtown Center. The design solution converted an existing enclosed mall into a pedestrian friendly,
mixed format center that includes several out parcel opportunities.
The second phase of the Midtown Center project adapts the “mainstreet concept” to a variety of tenant
formats and parking requirements. This phase completes the remaining retail portion of this award winning
redevelopment project.

Working with Raymond Management on this highly visible site in Fort Worth, Texas, EUA was able to create
a balanced mixed use site plan that blends the various uses with challenging site dynamics. Two hotels
are planned, the seven-story 130-room Hilton Homewood Suites and the six-story, 150 room Hilton Garden
Inn.

Saint Louis Galleria is St. Louis’ premier shopping center with 165 specialty stores - more than 35 of which
are exclusive within the St. Louis area. The Galleria is home to the flagship stores of Macy’s and Dillard’s,
which will soon be joined by a new Nordstrom.
EUA is designing modifications and additions to the existing two-story mall that balance the needs of the
property owner with those delineated in Nordstrom’s technical specs. Interior design and finish selections
are also being designed by EUA.

This seven-acre redevelopment site is located on the corner of Segoe Road and University Avenue. The heart
of this project is the state-of-the-art, 55,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market with cart escalators, a parking
ramp, and a green roof.

Eppstein Uhen Architects created a space that would encourage and promote more pet adoptions, as
well as educate the public on the many different functions of the Wisconsin Humane Society. The new
43,527-square-foot facility, completed in 1999, provides better living quarters for more animals through
practical, usable spaces infused with light and energy. The facility can accommodate up to 100 cats and
82 dogs, plus other small animals. The building also includes pet adoption areas, a wildlife rehabilitation
center, a full service, four year, AHHA accredited veterinary hospital, and community education classrooms.
