Wiley X carries 36 different polarized fishing eyewear models – all mounted

with the best polarized filter on the market and all cer tified protective

eyewear. A Wiley X polarized lens is made out of SeleniteTM (polycarbonate)

and the polarized filter is placed in the middle of the lens, making sure that

the filter stays untouched and protected against damage while wearing and

cleaning them.

Wiley X ANSI tested frames and lenses must withstand the

weight of a 500g pointed projectile dropped from a height of

127 cm. That pretty much ensures that they will stand up to

anything you will encounter.

Frames and lenses must withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball fired at

164,6 km/h (ANSI) or 3,8mm projectiles fired at 700-720 km/h (spectacle VO Ballistic). This

ensures our lenses and frames are practically indestructible.

The RX lens system is tailor made to meet the user’s eye data.

To bring this to life we use the EyePoint Technology system

that simulates the human eye in every angle, prescription, and

Polarized and photochromic lens options are available within the

It is common for ordinary lenses to bend light, causing focal objects to appear off center. Wiley X ANSI rated lenses provide a true spatial relationship of objects in the field of view.

Wearing Wiley X eyewear definitely gave us a distinct advantage in the World Predator Classic in 2015.

We are very pleased with the quality of the Wiley X premium eyewear. When you wear Wiley X in dull or highlight conditions the eyewear reduces the glare on the water, while

enhancing the dark parts, which is key for us. The eyewear is simply incredible.

Wearing Wiley X polarized eyewear has improved our fishing results. Fish following the lures but not striking are now easily spotted. Knowing that we are in the right spot, we

can try a different approach – often with greater results. With our former standard polarized eyewear we would have left the sport thinking the fish weren’t there.

Over the years I have tried and used several models of the Wiley X polarized selection and I really can’t imagine fishing without them.

The Wiley X eyewear is really very helpful for me to see what is happening under the water – to find fish, to control the leading of the lure or checking some barriers in the

water. The eyewear allowed me to catch much more fish and to achieve good results at international championships.

During 2015 I won the prestigious Lure Fishing World Championship as well as the European Champion – The Trout Union Cup. WX Arrow model with yellow lenses, one of my

favorite Wiley X models I use helped me to win these competitions. I used them mainly during cloudy weather and they performed at a 100%.

In the spring of 2015 we were spot on with everything: the fish were there, the conditions were just right – the rest was up to us and our fly fishing skills.

You can do a lot of preparation before you hit the water, but when you are on the water, this is the time and place to get everything just right. In my fishing, the speed of my

fly and the depth at which my fly is fishing is very important. Therefore, it is crucial for my success that I can follow my line in the water as well as in the current.

I can honestly say that I have tried and used a lot of premium fishing eyewear in my 27 years as a fly fisher, but I have never found a match to Wiley X in this phase of my

fishing. I can follow my line in the water and read the water perfectly when wearing Wiley X polarized eyewear. The fit of the eyewear is fantastic – often I don’t even feel I’m

Prior to the competition we gained a lot of knowledge of the venue which allowed us to be as prepared as we could. Teaming up with world renowned eyewear brand Wiley

X has completed our preparations.

After finishing 2nd last year at the WCC 2014, we have been wearing polarized eyewear from Wiley X and they have improved our fishing, allowing us to catch more fish.

This eyewear allows us to spot the fish better. We enjoy the many different Wiley X styles with different lens tints, which give us the comfort of knowing that no matter the
