Kryptek; in fact, Wiley X is the only premium eyewear brand licensed to use its patterns. With the WX Compass we have combined our best-selling polarised lens (amber base with an emerald mirror) in our best-selling Kryptek pattern.

THE COMPASS STYLE IS UNIQUE IN MANY WAYS – WHAT ARE ITS MAIN FEATURES?With the lens choice and the Kryptek pattern, the WX Compass off ers a sleek, modern design. Th e style looks like a half frame but is, in fact, a full one. It also features the Wiley X removable Facial Cavity Seal that boosts polarisation while cutting through the harshest elements to protect the eyes from UV rays, wind, dust and debris. Th e frames feature rubberised temples for optimal grip and comfort while also incorporating a unique lock and load system that makes for easy carrying. Just like any other Wiley X style, the Compass is sold with a limited lifetime warranty.

CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE IMPORTANCE OF THE EN.166 AND EN.172 CERTIFICATION THAT WILEY X PRODUCTS ACHIEVE?Wiley X is the only brand in the world whose entire adult eyewear lines meet ANSI Z87.1 and EN.166 standards. To pass these tests, it’s critical to make sure that our products can sustain high mass/high-velocity impacts and pass optical clarity standards. Th e EN.166 certifi cation also passes the EN.172.

Another test used in Wiley X production is the Clause 4.3.2 Polarising Filters Test. Th rough this test, the polarised fi lter shall be fi tted in the frame so that the plane of polarisation does not deviate from the vertical, or the nominal direction if diff erent from the vertical, by more than +/-3 degrees or 1.67 per cent.
