How to Enter.a) Take a photo of your “Little Footy Legend” taking an awesome mark, kick,

specky or tackle while playing for Wilston Grange Junior AFL Football Club.

b) Send your photos to: mitcheltonmailbox@bendigoadelaide.com.au with the subject line “Little Footy Legends”. Please send photo as an attachment in JPG file (max. 8MB)

c) Include the following details, your first name, last name, date of birth, email address and phone number.

d) Ensure you also advise of your son/daughter who is the Junior Football Club member personal details, first name, last name, email address and phone number. Make sure you also tell us which Wilston Grange Junior AFL Football Club age group they are in. Dont forgot to also advise the date & round of the game in which the photo was taken.

e) Please include a signed talent release form completed by the Parent / Legal Guardian as an attachment. Forms can be obtained from the Mitchelton Bendigo bank branch or Wilston Grange Gorillas Football Club.

A note about Digital Photography.Please submit photographs that are un-manipulated, real and that capture those special moments in time. We want to see your little footy legend through your eyes, without the special effects that photo editing tools can bring.

Please do not digitally enhance or alter your photographs (beyond the basics needed to achieve realistic colour balance and sharpness). If you have digitally added or removed anything, please don’t submit the shot. We look at every photo to see if it’s authentic and if we find that yours is not “natural”, we’ll disqualify it.

In the case of the winners, we will reserve the right to ask for the original JPEG or RAW files, if available, to be submitted for review.

Terms and Conditions: Entry is only open to QLD residents 18 years and over who are a parent or legal guardian of a Wilston Grange Junior AFL Football Club Member. Voting is open to all Australian residents. Final entries close 11.59pm AEST 5/9/17 & final votes close 11.59pm AEST 15/9/17. DODGING AND BURNING Dodging (to brighten shadows) or burning (to darken highlights) is fine, but please don’t overdo it. Your goal in using digital darkroom techniques should be to adjust the dynamic tonal range of an image so that it more closely resembles what you saw.

COLOUR SATURATION Just as with dodging and burning, your goal should be to make it real. Please avoid significant over- or under-saturation.

SOLARIZATION, MEZZOTINT, DUOTONE, ETC. These are discouraged as being too gimmicky. There are a myriad of alteration “filters” available in digital photo software; try not to use them. This particularly applies to shots taken with a camera phone. They may be cool and fun, but they won’t help you in this contest.
