What about the members of WFMC in January ?? ....

Happy New Year 2016 to all those who are dear, health course, the current situation with the terrorist threat to our country, the messages of warning prefectures on our travels in uniform or is confused Police and Fire tend sealed just our life. Fortunately the club enables us to escape ourselves and live our passion is why I am very attached to him and I devoted a great part of my time. The President talks about having some retained on social networks ... .I have listened to and deleted my Facebook account, it's true that I tended to some excesses on what I read sometimes, I also blame him a lack of privacy and hard to go unnoticed even with a nickname. Chapter #189 Reunion Island October 2015

I had the chance and privilege to represent you at 10am flight over this beautiful island to formally innaugurer this beautiful chapter. I will not tell you about my journey on this newsletter because it was the subject of a special issue of November.

The check for € 2,600 from the National Collection in 2014 was finally handed, with some delay, by James, our assistant secretary, at work in the company of Pupils Chapter # 138 Burgundy.

Rebate check Chapter BOUGNATS #158

On Saturday 21 November, 2015, the Chapter Bougnat, put a check for 1,000 euros to UDSP 63 orphans sections, amount of everything we had collected during the year 2015, during our outings to Courpiere, Mende Tallende. The UDSP 63 and myself thank the participants in these 3 actions! Hope that 2015, in the same vintage.

Toy’s Run in Eyragues (13) – December 12th

Good communication, an effective word of mouth and especially the reputation of this Toy's Run which is well established for 4 years helped to reconvene bikers from all backgrounds come to bring their toy to benefit hospitalized children.

An audience of beautiful souls invited to a snack offered by Céline our bar-holder "The Toril" waiting to take the road to the hospital in Avignon.

US vehicles collection close the convoy of some 70 motorbikes of all brands.

1 cart loaded with gifts, little break to capture the évênement and forward to the pediatric ward with a few volunteers for distribution

This year, in parallel, volunteers graffiti artists came decide their talent, for delimiting the panels rest area teenagers, paint bombs being offered by Chapter # 157.

The regional press has once again welcomed the efforts of our brothers and supported by a multitude of different clubs and biker unlabeled.

To welcome the presence of Our Géraptor came to reinforce our ranks Rhone-Alpes # 149 whose other members accustomed to Toy's Run was unfortunately unable to break free this year.

Chapter ATLANTIC COAST #166 to the association :

« LES PAPILLONS DE CHARCOT » (butterfly charcot)

The association of Charcot Butterflies was born in January 2006, at the initiative of patients with ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or "Lou Gehrig's disease," and their relatives. ALS is a disease characterized by degeneration of motor neurons. These are the nerve cells that control voluntary muscles our (walking muscles, breathing ...), which are atrophied die. It is difficult to quantify this disease, although it is estimated that 8-10 000 people would be affected in France, with 3 to 4 new cases per day. No curative treatment to date, the average life expectancy of patients is between 3 and 5 years although a small percentage live beyond 10 years. The disease comes in two forms:

➢ Spinal forms: lower limbs and / or upper affected ➢ The bulbar form: functions of swallowing and speech affected Eventually these two forms that meet, then the person is a prisoner of his body, totally dependent on his surroundings and unable to communicate verbally or gestural. However, the patient retains all the intellectual faculties and that until the end, because the brain is not a muscle. The main objective of the association is to move patients from their isolation, awareness of ALS and other motor neuron diseases, recognition of the rights of patients, educate medical bodies, administrative and policies so that s' invest in research and help improve the daily comfort of the patients and this by any means, be it media, sporting events or otherwise. For 4 years, the association wants accelerated its development by creating close to antennas on the whole French territory. Since November 2011, two antennas have already been created in Britain and in the Poitou-Charentes region and a third will be created by year-end. They allow patients and relatives of patients to meet the considerable needs for support and care on a daily basis thereof. These antennas are meant to be a place for dialogue, support, listening, advice but also resources for patients and professionals alike. So that these antennas can function, it goes further that financial and human resources are necessary and indispensable. We will not forget to talk about the making of kikoz, communication tool, survival manufactured and sold by the association for people with ALS who can not communicate verbally. Medical research, has in recent years very strong growth but even if we are all confident that this research will one day

fruit, waiting for that great day the national association can not sit idly by. The daily life of patients and their families is a priority and time is short. The support of dynamic volunteer teams at the head of events, sports or other (Running to the other), and in collaboration with nearby antennas, participated in the project completion, with the slogan and colors ALS, in order to recover the financial means to help the national association, in order to weave the France of nearby antennas, communicate and publicize the SLA, build and improve communication tool called kikoz and equip these antennas materials. To that help these patients to remain worthy, not to feel a burden to their family carers, their families, caregivers and professionals, but also a burden to society, so that we offer these people another future but also to those who will be diagnosed tomorrow, let us be united.
