DAY 1 - Fly to OaklandMorning flight to Oakland where you will board your private motorcoach and drive over the Bay Bridge into SanFrancisco for lunch on own at Fisherman's Wharf. DAY 2 - Sonoma / Olive Oil Factory / WineriesDrive through the scenic Valley of the Moon for a morning winery tour & tasting. Then it's on to historicSonoma for free time to explore the missions, Spanish barracks and Sonoma jack cheese shop. Lunch isincluded today at a fine local restaurant. This afternoon, visit a second local winery for a special tour andtasting along with a tasting at a local Olive Oil factory. Return to your hotel for a free evening. DAY 3 - Coastal Drive / Redwoods / Champagne / Burbank GardensDrive west to the Pacific coast at quaint Bodega Bay (location for Alfred Hitchcock's film "The Birds"). MotorNorth on Highway #1 along the scenic coastline to Jenner, then inland following the Russian River to the giantSequoia trees. Stop at Armstrong Redwood's State Park and enjoy a walking tour through the big trees. Then,visit a Champagnery for a tour, tasting and lunch. DAY 4 - Napa Valley Wine Train / Culinary Institute of AmericaAfter a relaxing morning, you will depart for a day trip to the world famous Napa Valley Wine Country. Begin byboarding the Napa Valley Wine Train for a leisurely 3-hour journey through the beautiful wine country of NapaValley in meticulously restored vintage rail cars. While riding the rails through the scenic Napa Valleyvineyards, enjoy a three course gourmet lunch with wine. This afternoon, visit the Culinary Institute of America(CIA), in Napa's historic Christian Brothers building for a tour and cooking demonstration. Return to your hotelfor a free evening. DAY 5 - Russian River / Winery Tours / Peanuts Museum Morning drive north along Highway 101, through the Russian River Wine Valley, to tour a famous hilltoppremium brand winery. Then stop in historic Healdsburg for shopping and leisurely lunch on your own. Afterlunch, continue on to another winery for another special wine tasting. Next it's off to Santa Rosa for a tour ofthe Charles Schultz Museum, dedicated to the beloved "Peanuts" cartoonist.
