Tokaji Asz 6 Puttonyos sweet 2005Alc.: 11,36 % Sugar : 160 g/l Acid : 9,5 g/l

Blend of 3 main grape varieties : 33-33 % of Furmint, Hrslevel and Zta grapes. The 400 years old wine making method (with minor modern technology) gives you the guarantee of a positive life-feeling. No human intervention, just God and nature gives this outer product. The 6 Puttonyos is terrific, beautifully floral, with obvious dried apricot, honey, peach, orange peel, and backed by elegant mineral. With a whopping 160 grams of sugars the acidity is still bracing, and deftly brings the whole together. This is decadently sweet wine but doesnt tire the palate; the fruit, sugars and acidity present themselves within the harmonious frame. This can be enjoyed now and over the next 50 or so years. Elegant Bothrytis, 3 years ageing in oak, honey, tropical fruits, elegant citric in the nose. Orange, lime, plum, forest flowers, honey, botrytis with elegant citric bouquet. Definite apricot, vanilla, long taste perfect acids harmonize with high grape sugar contain barrique in the palate. Forever winner of wine competitions.

Recommended to cakes, desserts, sweet & sour foods or drink it simple with your beloved as a talking wine. Best served at 10-12 C.

Tokaji Aszeszencia sweet 2006Alc.: 9,34 % Sugar : 186,2 g/l Acid : 10,8 g/l Blend of 3 main grape varieties : 33-33 % of Furmint, Hrslevel and Zta grapes. Amazingly concentrated, tight and firmly structured, thick, rich and syrupy, but not a bit heavy, orange marmalade, honey, pineapple, with spicy aromas and flavours. This is ready to drink but built for the long haul, with a massive 186,2 grams of sugar per litre, it is integrated but the acidity keeps it feeling very young. The finish is super long. I think this will improve further over the next 40 or so years and drink well for a further 60 years or thereabouts. 3 years of barrel ageing, well balanced oak, flowers and fruits in the nose. Thanks to the Tokaji grape varieties Furmint and Hrslevel, the aszberries lend extraordinary complexity, definite acids and a very long taste to this beauty.

Tokaji Eszencia sweet 2007 (250 ml)Tokaji Eszencia sweet 2005 (375 ml)Alc.: 1,67 %Sugar : 614 g/lAcid : 17,5 g/lThis elixir is a true liquid gold, so pure, etheral and totally sensational, explosive on the palate, freakishly complex, lusciously sweet with vibrant but and sharp citrus juices. The finish is endless. Flavours of pinceapple, citrus, lichee, orange blossom and dried apricot. Simply put: I think this may be one of the finest dessert wines ever made in the world. This is liquid gold, so pure, ethereal and totally sensational, explosive on the palate, freakishly complex, lusciously sweet, yet with superb laser like sharp citrus juices which keeps it vibrant and mesmerising throughout. The finish is endless. There is so much going on here, flavours of pineapple, citrus, lichee, orange blossom, strawberries and cream, dried apricot. For me its an almost perfect wine already, in truth, its the finest I have ever tasted of its type and Ive had a few in my lifetime. Consider this, honey contains 400 grams of sugar per litre, this contains a staggering 614 grams per litre! It is only 1.67 % Alcohol....it is totally extravagant, extraordinarily finessed, despite the massive residual sugars, this is superbly balanced by thrilling acids. Where will this go with time in bottle? Without doubt this has a most promising career ahead of itself; it is a legend in the making. When is the perfect time to drink this elixir.... difficult to say the optimum time... sometime over the next 250 years.... that is... if you have the patience?
