MonVin is situated in Volpago, one of the best areas in the wine-growing hills of Treviso, renowned throu-ghout the whole world for the quality of its wines.It all began thanks to the intuition of Armando Sere-na, member of a family involved in winemaking since 1881, who founded the company in 1968, in an area near Venice that is, in terms of culture and nature, one of the most interesting in all of Italy.

Supply chain traceability

MonVin has implemented a traceability project that makes it possible to retrace all the production stages of our wine: from your glass right back to the wine-making process.Our technical staff, composed of six oenologists, constantly follow each phase of the production and keg-filling process. Over the last 10 years, MonVin has invested 10 million euros in technological inno-vation, and the company boasts important patents in the oenological sector.

KEYKEG: Quality and guarantee MonVin uses the KeyKeg technology developed by LWC, the environmentally friendly single-use keg pro-duced using over 50% recycled PET. The patented Bag-in-Keg principle is based on a spe-cial internal, laminated aluminium bag, contained in a high-tech PET package. This two-compartment sy-stem preserves the quality of the wine and its shelf life offering key optimal protection from exposure to air, and the wine never comes into contact with the gases. The convenient format and practical grip allows anyo-ne to use KeyKeg straight away. The kegs are light and easy to stack: this system saves space in the warehouse and transportation.

Advantages

The light kegs used by Monvin are recyclable. All of the raw materials can be separated in just a few stages and used to produce new SlimKegs. The basic parts of the barrels are already made of 100% recycled plastic. But the environmental be-nefits don’t stop there. The compact design means a 25-30% greater load capacity. Transport savin-gs can be up to 65%; this reduces CO2 emissions which are further reduced if compressed air is used for tapping. The SlimKeg system is completely in line with the objectives of sustainability, but at lower cost, and without compromising quality. Freight Charges:

Monvin Bianco ®

Monvin Bianco is a blend obtained from mul-ti-varietal white grapes selected from the best wine-growing areas.Straw-yellow in colour, it has a fresh, fruity, de-licate aroma; it is velvety on the palate and has a full taste. It is an all-course wine that is also excellent with pizza. Serving temperature: 10 - 12 °C

Chardonnay

The aroma of this Chardonnay has hints of white flowers and fruits such as peaches and apples.It has a pale straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections, and a delicate fragrance that is ple-asantly characteristic. It pairs well with soups, fish and soft and fresh cheeses. Serving temperature: 12 °C.

Pinot Grigio IGTPUGLIA

This is a delicate, fresh, tasty and harmonious wine with good aromatic persistence. It pairs well with appetizers and cold cuts. It is a wine that should be consumed young. Serving temperature: 8 - 10 °C.

Merlot

Ruby-red Merlot with aromas of cherry, rasp-berry and blackberry. Dry, intense and persi-stent taste. It combines beautifully with roasted white and red meats, poultry and game. Serving temperature: 12 - 18 °C.

Sangiovese IGTMARCHE

An IGT red wine, produced on the hills of the Marche region. With its characteristic ruby red color, it has a very wine-like bouquet, that remi-nisces violets. It has a dry, sharp and harmonic taste. It can be served during the whole meal, but we recommend it with meat based first di-shes and mature cheeses. Serving temperature: 18 °C.

Merlot Cabernet

A vibrant ruby-red colour. The persistent, typi-cal bouquet is reminiscent of berries, along with a pleasant scent of spices. The aroma is char-ming and soft, but at the same time full-bodied. Ideal with grilled meats, mushroom soups and mature cheeses.Serving temperature: 17 - 19 °C

Regandino is a wine made with multi-varietal grape selections, obtained from a blend of red and white varieties. The result of this particu-lar union is a light wine with a great personality. Alzaia

A sparkling white wine made using the Charmat method, Alzaia comes from the correct, careful vinification of white grapes. A lively and fragrant perlage, with a fruity and gentle aroma that is vaguely aromatic. Excellent as an aperitif, with cheese and fish-based appetizers, but also with porcini and chiodini mushrooms. Serving temperature: 10 - 12 °C.

Prodry ®

This sparkling wine is obtained with the Charmat method. Straw yellow coloured, its fragrance is fruity, delicate and lightly aromatic. Its acidity is pleasant and its flavor is lively and piquant. This wine is excellent as an aperitif, but it is good to accompany the entire meal and espe-cially mixed fish-fry and fried vegetables. Serving temperature: 10 - 12 °C.
