    INTRODUCTION

    I submit herewith the One Hundred Seventeenth Annual Report of Winneshiek County, the purpose being to give in a concise

    and simple form the receipts and expenditures of the county,together with such other information as is deemed of

    interest to the taxpayers.

    It is hoped that a study of this report will be the means offamiliarizing the taxpayers with the finances of the county.
