Allot NetEnforcer• Traffic Shaping• QOS – Priority, Min, Max• Pipes• Virtual Channels• Fallback• GUI and CLI Interface• Monitor, Classify, Apply Action

• Changes to attempt to resolve issue:

• 1. Dorm students limited to 1 Mb• 2. Critical Applications Pipe Created• 3. Peer to Peer blocked with more enforcement• 4. Max Bandwidth controls :

– Dorms 33 Mb– Tech Park 2 Mb– Widener 18 Mb– WINS 60 Mb (Per District 15 Mb)

• Last resort will be to increase Yipes to 90 Mb…..

Tips Learned

• Java – Issues when multiple versions are needed– Solution: Uninstall all versions, then install newest version, then

install most recent to that, then most recent to that… Top Down.

Auto Negotiation Mismatch – Auto/Auto, FULL/FULLAuto to FULL Duplex always results in Half Duplex!
