In Ischgl, der Lifestyle Metropole der Alpen, finden Skifahrer und Snowboarder eines der größten zusammenhängenden Skigebiete der Alpen vor: Die „Silvretta Arena Ischgl Samnaun“ begeistert mit 238 bestens präparierten Pistenkilometern in allen Schwierigkeits-graden, 45 modernen Liftanlagen, riesigen Funparks und feinsten Powder-Arealen. Das grenzübergreifende Skigebiet (Österreich – Schweiz) überzeugt Wintersportler mit einer Schneegarantie von Ende November bis Anfang Mai!
Der Slogan „Relax. If you can…“ ist in Ischgl kein leeres Versprechen: Urlauber erwartet hier die höchstgelegene Bühne der Alpen, Stars wie Rihanna, Robbie Williams und Elton John traten schon bei den legendären Top of the Mountain Concerts auf! Die Konzertreihe findet jeweils zum Saisonbeginn, zu Ostern und zum Saison- abschluss statt.

Ischgl the lifestyle metropolis of the Alps
In Ischgl, the lifestyle metropolis of the Alps, skiers and snowboarders will find one of the largest contiguous ski areas in the Alps: The „Silvretta Arena Ischgl Samnaun“ delights with 238 kilometres of optimally groomed pistes of all levels of difficulty, 45 modern lifts, giant fun parks and top-class Powder-Areas. The cross-border ski area (Austria – Switzerland) convinces winter sports fans with snow guarantee from the end of November to the beginning of May!
The slogan „Relax. If you can…“ is not an empty promise in Ischgl: Here, holidaymakers will find the highest located stage in the Alps, with stars such as Rihanna, Robbie Williams and Elton John having already performed at the legendary Top of the Mountain Concerts! The concert series is held each season opening, for Easter and at the end of season.

Neuheiten: • Sesselbahn Palinkopf: Höchster Fahrgastkomfort und leiser Betrieb machen die neue Palinkopfbahn zur First Class. Die neue Hightech Sesselbahn bringt eine Reihe von spürbaren Ver- besserungen für unsere Gäste mit sich.
• Speicherteich Viderböden: Der neue Speicherteich Viderböden mit einem Nutzinhalt von rund 52.000 m³ fungiert als Zentrale der Beschneiungsanlage des Ischgler Skigebietes.

• Chairlift Palinkopf: Highest passenger comfort and low-noise operation make the new Palinkopfbahn lift first class. The new high-tech chairlift features a series of tangible improvements for our guests
• Reservoir Viderböden: The new reservoir Viderböden with a net capacity of some 52,000 m³ serves as a centre for the snowmaking facilities of the Ischgl ski area.

... und setzt auf ein zukunftsweisendes Wintersport-Konzept – den vielfach ausgezeichneten Silvapark. Die Ski-Arena punktet mit sechs Sektoren für alle Wintersport-Bedürfnisse. Spaß und Abwechslung für die ganze Familie stehen dabei im Vordergrund:
Die kleinen Besucher des Silvaparks dürfen sich in der „Zwergerl-welt“ und im „Abenteuerland“ so richtig austoben. Der „Actionpark“ ist speziell für Jugendliche konzipiert. Im „Pistenparadies“ werden Wintersportler mit schier endlosem Pistenspaß versorgt und im „Heldenreich“ sind Freerider bestens aufgehoben. Im Sektor „High & Nordic“ genießen Langläufer 73 bestens präparierte Loipenkilometer.

Galtür located at 1,600 meters above sea level ...
... and relies on a trend-setting winter sports concept – the mul-tiple award-winning Silvapark. The Ski-Arena scores with six sectors for all winter sports requirements. Fun and variety for the whole family take centre stage here:
Young visitors to the Silvapark can let off steam in the „World of Dwarves“ and „Adventure Land“. The „Actionpark“ is designed especially for youth. In the „Piste-Paradise“, winter sports fans are provided with endless fun on the slopes and in the „Heroes‘ Kingdom“ freeriders get their fill. In the sector „High & Nordic“ cross-country skiers can enjoy 73 kilometres of optimally groomed cross-country ski trails.

Kappl Das Sunny Mountain Skigebiet
... versorgt Skifahrer mit bestens präparierten Pistenkilometern. Kinder können sich im „Sunny Mountain Erlebnispark“ ausleben: Neben überdachten „Zauberteppichen“ bietet das Areal eine Kinder-piste, ein Ski-Karussell, Wellenbahnen, Schneehöhlen und noch viele weitere Attraktionen, die Kinderaugen zum Leuchten bringen.
Kappl ist zudem auch ein exzellentes Terrain für Freerider, bislang aber noch ein echter Geheimtipp unter Backcountry-Fans. Jährlich findet hier der FWT Qualifier Open Faces im Rahmen des Freeride Festivals statt. Die örtlichen Skischulen bieten Kurse für Anfänger an, helfen beim Aussuchen des richtigen Materials und zeigen Freeridern ihre Lieblings-Spots.

Kappl The Sunny Mountain ski area
... provides skiers with miles of optimally groomed pistes. Children can let off steam in the „Sunny Mountain Adventure Park“: In addition to covered „Magic Carpets“, the area offers a children‘s slope, a ski- carousel, wave runs, snow caves and many other attractions to make children‘s eyes shine.
Kappl is also excellent terrain for freeriders, but to date still an insiders‘ tip among backcountry-fans. Every year, the FWT Qualifier Open Faces are held here as part of the Freeride Festival. The local ski schools offer courses for beginners, help select the proper gear and show freeriders their favourite spots.

From the village centre, a comfortable gondola lift takes winter sports fans directly into the family-friendly ski area. The beautiful mountain restaurants and rustic huts conjure up Tirolean delicacies to tickle every palate.
Six days, six benefits in one very special package: With the SkiHit-Pass, skiers get an additional one-day ski pass on top of the six days of skiing in See on their day of arrival, return lift trips for the evening program-me on Tuesday, a half-day carving lesson at See skiing school, vou-chers for free ski-service and test-skis to try out as well as free day-care in the See guest kindergarten.

Auch im Winter 2018 verwandelt sich das Skigebiet, die Silvretta Arena Ischgl Samnaun, ab Januar wieder in eine riesige Open-Air Galerie. Von 08. – 12. Januar 2018 schnitzen 10 internationale Künstlerpaare erneut 10 beeindruckende Skulpturen aus Schnee und Eis. Die Meisterwerke können bis Ende April bestaunt werden.

In winter 2018, the ski area, the Silvretta Arena Ischgl Samnaun, once again transforms into a giant open-air gallery from January on. From 08 – 12 January 2018, ten international artist couples will carve ten impressive sculptures from snow and ice. The masterpieces can be admired until the end of April.

Kappl FREERIDE FESTIVAL
Beim vierten Freeride Festival Ende Januar 2018 ist für Ski- und Free-ridebegeisterte „Powder-Vergnügen“ pur angesagt.
Dank der Schneegarantie präsentiert sich das Backcountry rund um Kappl dieses Wochenende als Freeride-Hotspot, egal ob für neugie-rige Quereinsteiger oder erfahrene Ski-Koryphäen. Die Programm-punkte – wie u.a. die Freeride Movienight, Workshops der Schischule Kappl Aktiv sowie Guiding oder Technikkurse werden beim Festival kostenlos angeboten. Freeski-Feeling und spektakuläre Festival- atmosphäre, wie zum Beispiel die Winnersparty am Samstag mit DJ, kommt dieses Jahr einmal mehr auch bei den Open Faces Freeride Wettbewerben auf, für die man sich qualifizieren kann.

At the fourth Freeride Festival, end of January 2018, unadulterated „powder fun“ is the order of the day for skiing and freeriding fans
Thanks to the snow guarantee, the backcountry around Kappl is the perfect freeriding-hotspot on this weekend, no matter if for curious newcomers or experienced skiing experts. The activities and events– such as the freeride movie night, workshops by the Kappl Active skiing school as well as guiding and technique lessons are offered during the festival at no cost. Freeski-Feeling and the spectacular festival ambience, such as the Winnersparty on Saturday with a DJ, set in this year once again during the Open Faces Freeride competitions, for which you can also qualify.

Mit einem familienfreundlichen Angebot begeistert der Ferienort Galtür seit Jahren seine Gäste. Galtür CHILDREN‘S CONCERTS „EXPERIENCE THE MOUNTAIN“
The holiday resort of Galtür has delighted guests with its family- friendly options for many years. In winter 2018, three interactive concerts of the special kind are on the programme once again at the Silvapark on selected dates in February, March & April. The children‘s concerts take place at 15:00 in the Bambiniland in the ski area Galtür – great fun for the whole family, no tickets or a ski pass required.

Die Deutsche Schlagersängerin Vanessa Mai heizt ihren Fans und den Wintersportlern bei der Bergstation der Diasbahn vor herrlich ver-schneiter Bergkulisse ein.

Snow, fun and plenty of good vibes: On 18 March 2018, the ski area Kappl becomes a big Schlager-Open-Air-stage at 1 pm.
German crooner Vanessa Mai will be firing up her fans and all winter sports lovers at the upper terminus of the Diasbahn before the wonderfully snow-covered mountain backdrop.

Ischgl SKI-WM DER GASTRONOMIE
Nach der großen Resonanz der letzten neun Jahre mit mehr als 1.500 Startern aus 15 Nationen findet am 11. und 12. April 2018 die 10. Auf-lage der Ski-WM der Gastronomie statt. An zwei Wettbewerbstagen treten die Teilnehmer in den Kategorien „Hoteliers, Gastronomen, Köche, Hotelmitarbeiter, Hotelfachschüler und Gäste“ sowie „Sommeliers, Barkeeper, Kellner, Winzer und Zulieferer“ in zwei Durchgängen im Riesentorlauf gegeneinander an.
Austragungsort der Ski-WM der Gastronomie ist die berühmte Idalp in Ischgl. Den Abschluss des sportlichen Teils der Veranstaltung bildet der Teamwettbewerb (Hotels, Restaurants oder Spezialteams), der an beiden Renntagen stattfindet.

Ischgl SKI-WC OF GASTRONOMY
After the great response of the last nine years with more than 1,500 starters from 15 nations, the 10th edition of the Ski-WC of Gastronomy will be held on 11 - 12 April 2018. On two competition days, participants will be competing against each other in the categories „Hoteliers, restaurateurs, chefs, hotel staff, hotel industry apprentices and guests“ as well as „Sommeliers, barkeepers, waiters, wine-growers and suppliers in two giant slalom runs.
Venue for the Ski-WC of Gastronomy is the famous Idalp in Ischgl. On both days, the sports part of the event is concluded with a team competition (hotels, restaurants and special teams).

Kappl WATERSURF CONTEST
Das Wasser spritzt, das Publikum jubelt und die Zähne der Teil- nehmer klappern – in See freuen sich an Ostern Wintersportler auf ein angelegtes Eiswasserbecken. Denn hier treten am 31. März 2018 auf der Medrigalm mutige Ski- und Snowboardfahrer zum all- jährlichen Watersurf-Contest an. Mitmachen und um das Gesamt-preisgeld von rund 2.000 Euro kämpfen kann jeder – mit Ski, Snow-board oder selbstgebastelten wasserfesten Gefährten. Highlight: Die Kategorie „Crazy Vehicles“. Ob selbstgebastelte Palmeninseln, U.F.O.s oder Piratenschiffe – hier bewerten Zuschauer und eine Jury die skurrilen Gefährte und Verkleidungen und prämieren die ausge-fallenste Idee.

Kappl WATERSURF CONTEST
Splashing water, cheering audience and the participants‘ teeth chattering – in See winter sports fans can look forward to an ice-water pool during Easter. Because here on 31 March 2018 at the Medrigalm, brave skiing and snowboarding fans compete in the annual Watersurf-Contest. Anyone can join in to compete for total prize money of around 2,000 Euro – on skis, snowboards or home-made floating vehicles of all kinds. Highlight: The category „Crazy Vehicles“. Be it self-made palmy islands, UFOs or pirate ships – here the audience and the jury will rate the quirky vehicles and costumes and award the most outlandish idea.

FREERIDEN
Wer träumt nicht von unverspurten Pulverschneehängen, in denen man seine Spuren hinterlassen kann? Egal ob Anfänger oder Profi – im Paznaun gibt es für jede Könnerstufe das passende Offpiste-Ver-gnügen. Enge Rinnen oder weite Tiefschneehänge mit mäßiger Neigung – hier findet jeder sein passendes Terrain. Das Beste daran: Sogar Tage nach Neuschneefällen werden Tiefschneehungrige auf der Suche nach unverspurten Runs fündig. Aufgrund der Höhenlage des Paznaun gibt es oft selbst im April noch feinsten Powder zum Surfen.
Es finden regelmäßig Kurse und Workshops zum Thema Freeriden statt – Details gibt es bei den lokalen Ski- & Snowboardschulen in jedem Ort.

FREERIDING
Who doesn‘t dream of pristine powder snow slopes on which to leave your tracks? No matter if beginner or pro – in Paznaun all skill levels will find their suitable off-piste fun. Narrow chutes or wide powder snow slopes with moderate gradient – here everyone will find their suitable terrain. And best of all: Even days after fresh snow has fallen, those hungry for powder snow and on the search for pristine runs won‘t have to look far. Thanks to its high-altitude location, you can often find finest powder for surfing in Paznaun even in April.
Courses and workshops focusing on freeriding are held regularly – details can be found at the local skiing & snowboarding schools in every village.

LANGLAUFEN
Ein einmaliges Angebot mit ausgezeichnetem Service und bester Qualität findet jeder bei einem Langlaufurlaub im Paznaun. Dazu ge-hören ebenfalls die serviceorientierte Infrastruktur beim Einstieg in die Hauptloipe sowie Langlaufkurse für Anfänger, Fortgeschrittene und sportlich ambitionierte Langläufer. Die Angebote der qualitäts-geprüften Langlaufunterkünfte liefern die optimale Grundlage für einen Urlaub auf und abseits der Loipe.
Beim Gesamtloipennetz von 73 km erstrecken sich alle Varianten für Langläufer durch die winterliche Landschaft des Paznaun bis hinauf auf 2.036 Meter Höhe. Neben der klassischen Spur steht natürlich auch ein breiter Platz zum Skaten bereit. Und das Beste daran – die Benützung des Loipennetzes im Paznaun ist kostenlos.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
A unique range of options with excellent service and best quality can be found by everyone going on cross-country skiing holidays in Paznaun. This also includes the service-oriented infrastructure when stepping into the main cross-country ski trail as well as cross- country skiing courses for beginners, the advanced and ambiti-ous cross-country skiers. With a network of cross-country ski trails measuring 73 km in total, all options for cross-country skiers stretch through the wintry scenery of Paznaun up to 2,036 metres altitude. In addition to classic trails, there is of course also ample space for skating. And best of all – use of the network of cross-country ski trails throughout Pazn-aun is free.

Für die ruhigen Momente im Paznaun bietet sich besonders eine Winterwanderung an. Ideal, um sich Pausen vom Alltag zu gönnen, um Gedanken fliegen zu lassen und um zu entspannen. Animierend sind dabei das langsame Gehtempo und die beschauliche Natur, herrlich eingehüllt in die weiße Pracht. Über 60 km zählt das Netz an Winterwanderwegen, das sich von 1.060 Meter Höhe bis hinauf auf 2.036 Meter Höhe erstreckt. Ebenso kann das Schweizerische Samnaun zu Fuß entdeckt werden oder man genießt die Natur und Ruhe, fernab von Stress und Lärm, in einem Seitental des Paznaun.

WINTER HIKING
For those peaceful moments in Paznaun, a winter hike is hard to beat. Perfect for taking some time out from the everyday hustle and bustle, letting your thoughts wander and relaxing. Particularly stimulating is the slow pace of walking and the peaceful nature, enveloped in a splendid cloak of white. The network of winter hiking trails covers more than 60 km, spanning from 1,060 metres altitude all the way up to 2,036 metres altitude. Swiss Samnaun can also be discovered on foot or you can enjoy nature and tranquillity, far away from any stress and noise, in a tributary valley of Paznaun.

Es ist die vielleicht ursprünglichste Form des Skifahrens: Zu Fuß, mit Ski und Fellen den Berg bezwingen. Hinunter gibt’s dann den ab-soluten Genuss, wenn die eigene Spur in den Tiefschnee gezaubert wird.
Wer gern abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade unterwegs ist, für den ist das Skitourengehen genau das Richtige, um den alpinen Winter hautnah zu spüren. Zahlreiche Dreitausender – aber auch weniger ambitionierte Ziele – warten darauf erobert zu werden.
Wer die fantastische hochalpine Landschaft erleben möchte, für den stehen komfortable Hütten zum Übernachten zur Verfügung.
Wer sich zum ersten Mal ins Gelände wagen will, der sollte unbe-dingt einen erfahrenen Berg- oder Skiführer mitnehmen, um sich auch in Sachen Sicherheit ausbilden zu lassen.

For those who like to move off the beaten track, ski touring is just the ticket to feel alpine winter up close. Numerous 3,000-metre peaks – but also less ambitious destinations – are waiting to be conquered.
Those who want to experience the fantastic high Alpine scenery will find comfortable huts and lodges for staying overnight.
Those who seek to venture out into the terrain for the first time should absolutely take an experienced mountain or ski guide to train them in matters of safety.

Rodeln – das ist Winterspaß und Nostalgie. Der Winterspaß auf zwei Kufen erfreut sich großer Beliebtheit bei Groß und Klein.
Mehrmals pro Woche finden in Ischgl und Kappl Rodelabende mit tollen Rahmenprogrammen statt – zudem kann in Kappl und See auch tagsüber gerodelt werden. Tobogganing – that‘s winter fun and nostalgia. Skidding downhill on a sleigh or toboggan is highly popular with both young and old.
Several times a week, there are tobogganing evenings in Ischgl and Kappl with a great supporting programme – and tobogganing is also available in Kappl and See during the day as well. No matter if you hike to where the toboggan run starts or take the gondola lift for more convenience, fun is guaranteed.
