In Local NewsA rally of parents and students in Orange NJ showed support to a teacher (Marylin Zuniga) who got suspended after giving out an assignment that was dealt with writing get-well letters to a convicted cop killer. Many people thought it was unfair for the teacher to get suspended because the assignment was nothing bad. Marylin is a third-grade teacher at Forest Street Elementary School in Orange NJ and feels like the assignment given to the students was nothing bad. 1

11In Newark New Jersey, charges are being filed to a driver that crashed into a New Jersey Transit bus with injuring nine people. A 27 year old man (Andre Price) is being charged with aggravated assault for leaving the scene. The scene happened before 2 a.m. Friday night. The bus was traveling South Eighth Street when a 1998 Cadillac Eldorado crashed into the bus, car was driven by Price. Passengers who were involved in this car crash were all taken to a University hospital. 2

Jim Gaines was involved in the Amtrak train crash in Philadelphia Tuesday night. Jim Gaines was a video software architect that worked for the associated press. Gaines was heading home after a few meetings when this horrible tragedy happened. Gaines was very well recognized in his job and leaves behind his family. He was pronounced dead on midnight at the University hospital in Philadelphia3

3Abid Gilani, a Wells Fargo executive was involved in the Amtrak crash Tuesday night. Gilani was only 55 years of age; he was one of the seven who died in this horrible tragedy. Abid was coming back home from a funeral service with his mother in Virginia. His mission was to return back to New York City for work the next day. Gilani was a father and husband. Today he leaves his wife and two kids.

4Amtrak crash has led to a Baltimore businessman (Bob Gildersleeve Jr) investigation. Bobs 13 year old is devastated and wants answers to find his missing father. Bobs son said, "Everyone is just frustrated and worried, its hard to sit around and wait. It's hard to keep the patience. The son wants answers and will not stop until questions are answered. The last person to speak to him was my mother, who dropped him off at the train station in Baltimore; he was headed to New York for a business meeting," said his 13 year old son. 5

An attack to the Kabul hoten in KABUL, Afghanistan left five people dead by a gunman caused it. Gunman ended up killing five people, in which it included an American and two Indian citizens. Six other people were wounded as well, according to officials. Kabul Afghanistan has had a little high profile attacks in the latest recent months. Government forces, and security convoys are attacks that are more frequently.

6Ten people were arrested by police in southwestern China for killing a female wild giant panda, as well as selling and buying its parts, according to state media. The suspects could be jailed for years. Parts that were sold were panda skin, meat, bones and internal organs. The killing of the panda was dealt with revenge after a owners sheep was killed by wild animals in December. Wang was one of the suspects to be involved with this panda killing; he was the owner of the sheep in which he felt it was right to do after finding out the harm that was done to his sheep. These people sold at least 35 kilograms of panda meat, along with the four paws for $800.

Golden state warriors end up winning game 5. Warriors were down points but managed to work their way up with the big help from Stephen Curry with his outside three pointers. Warriors now lead the series 3-2. Game ended 98-78.8

Al Horford from the Atlanta Hawks helped for the winning shot last night with only 1.9 seconds left. Atlanta wins 82-81. Hawks now lead the series 3-2 thanks to Horford. It was a tough match but Hawks found a way to beat the Washington Wizards. They will meet again on Friday. 9
