Wolfshead Field Archers 5th September 2021 Thank you to all who attended our first, and only, open shoot of 2021. I don't think anyone imagined at our previous open shoot that it would be another eighteen months before we would be holding the next one. Hopefully we'll now be back to our regular programme of three shoots per year, without any further interruptions. Once shooting had started the long break was quickly forgotten and everyone settled into the familiar routine. All the competitors appeared to enjoy themselves and comments received on the condition of the course and the new targets were positive. The experience of the day was considerably enhanced by some excellent late summer weather, which showed off the woods and moors at their best. As always, thanks go to all the club members who prepared the course, acted as marshals or worked in the kitchen. Without their efforts the shoot would not have been possible. We look forward to welcoming you to our next open shoot on the 27th February 2022.
