GENERAL INFORMATION
PRELIMINARY REMARKS
• We continuously improve our plants, therefore technical changes are reserved. The illustrations may differ slightly from the actual plant.
• Burkhardt GmbH does not offer any guarantee for errors and the up‐to‐dateness and accuracy of
the standards, guidelines and directives specified.
• Burkhardt GmbH does not assume responsibility for the adherence to the permit and the corresponding guidelines, standards and directives of the work performed by the customer, which is to be performed according to the specifications and/or in coordination with Burkhardt GmbH.
• Do not copy or pass on this planning document to third parties without the authorisation of
Burkhardt GmbH.
• Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. INTENDED USE This plant is used to generate electricity and a proportion of heat from wood pellets. Only operate it according to its intended use, the applicable regulations, and with all control functions and monitoring functions
as intended in its original condition without unauthorised changes in perfect technical condition with the provided auxiliary supplies
Only Burkhardt GmbH or personnel specifically instructed and trained for the plant may assemble, in‐stall, commission and service the wood gasifier. Otherwise, Burkhardt GmbH does not assume any liabi‐lity.

1. INTRODUCTION
The Burkhardt wood gasifier V 3.90, together with the combined heat and power plants ECO 165 HG (wood gas spark ignition) or the ECO 180 HG (wood gas pilot injection), generates electrical and thermal energy from wood pellets. By gasifying the wood pellets and using the product gas in an internal combustion engine with combined heat and power, the energy contained in the raw material is optimally utilised.
