mobile integration

Using Spillman’s Mobile Communications solution, you can link directly to the report and view or update its contents from the field. In addition, you can initiate workflow or view the approval history for any record. First, the Message Center notifies you of assigned records by displaying the number of unread or new approvals on the Message Center Today screen.

In addition, an approval record is sent to the Approvals folder in your Message Center.

When the status of a record has changed, you can update it by selecting the Update Status option from the Message Center . The Update Status window appears where you can assign the record to an individual or group, change the status of the record, and add any additional comments .

While viewing a record from the Message Center, you can expand the Approval History section to review a sequential list of the approval steps associated with a Spillman record.

You can also update the contents of a record by selecting the Update Record option from the Message Center . The system will open and display the record for modification .

When the Workflow Approval Management feature is enabled, the Approval button appears on the application toolbar and the Approval Status area appears at the bottom of certain screens.
