ENGLISH PANEL SK PUTRAJAYA PRESINT 14(1), 62300 PUTRAJAYA 1.0 INTRODUCTION The English Panel would like to propose the English Month to be organized in FEBRUARY 2012. 2.0 OBJECTIVES Among the objectives of the English Month are : 2.1 To expose the English Language at the mass scale. 2.2 To enhance the usage of in English in SKPP14(1). 2.3 To provide the opportunities to the pupils in practicing the English Language. 2.4 To be able to extent the pupils’ knowledge in the classroom. 2.5 To induce the English speaking society. 3.0 ACTIVITIES PROPOSED All teachers agreed to several activities to be organized during the English month. Among them are as followed: 3.1. LAUNCHING OF THE ENGLISH MONTH The launching will be taking place on the 2 nd FEBRUARY 2012 which falls on Thursday. 3.2. DAILY POEM RECITATION The poem recitation will be organized 5 days a week which cover the whole school days in a week for the whole month. The poems will be given according to their levels namely Level I and II. Each level consists of 5 short poems that cover 1

1.0INTRODUCTION

The English Panel would like to propose the English Month to be organized in FEBRUARY 2012.

2.0OBJECTIVESAmong the objectives of the English Month are :

2.1To expose the English Language at the mass scale.2.2To enhance the usage of in English in SKPP14(1).2.3To provide the opportunities to the pupils in practicing the English Language.2.4To be able to extent the pupils knowledge in the classroom.2.5To induce the English speaking society.

3.0ACTIVITIES PROPOSED

All teachers agreed to several activities to be organized during the English month.Among them are as followed:

3.1.LAUNCHING OF THE ENGLISH MONTHThe launching will be taking place on the 2nd FEBRUARY 2012 which falls on Thursday.

3.2.DAILY POEM RECITATIONThe poem recitation will be organized 5 days a week which cover the whole school days in a week for the whole month. The poems will be given according to their levels namely Level I and II. Each level consists of 5 short poems that cover the 5 school days (Monday Friday). Pupils are to read the poems chorally daily with a teachers guidance.

3.3DAILY QUIZZESDaily quizzes will be posted by a teachers in charge and the questions should cover the grammar part of the English Language Syllabus. The quizzes too are to be given according to their standard (Standard 1 6).

3.4ENGLISH CLINICS YEAR 4, 5 AND 6The English Clinics are to be organized in English Month as the previous year and to be reinforced to another month later in September if it possible to the school calendar activities

3.5THE ENGLISH CAMPAs for the English Camp, the activities will cover as in table shown below. There are teachers in charge for each activity and they are to prepare form of report formatted as given below.
