NOTES:CHRIST IS THE VISIBLE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD. – COLOSSIANS 1:15

WELCOME TO CROSSINGS COMMUNITY CHURCH

We’re so glad you’ve chosen to join us in worship today. Over the next hour, we will sing a few songs, join together in prayer, and hear a message that speaks to how truth and faith intersect with our lives today. In a world that pulls us in so many directions, this time of worship helps us remember what is most important as we turn our hearts and minds toward God.

We’d love to know you’re here today, so take a moment to fill out the Connection Card found in this worship guide, which includes a place where you can let us know about prayer concerns and/or questions you might have. Place the Connection Card into the offering plate/basket or into a BLUE BOX, found at each exit. Thanks again for gathering with us today at Crossings!

NEW TO CROSSINGS?Stop by Guest Central in the Atrium today after the service. We would love to meet you!

WANT TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP IN YOUR FAITH?Visit Next Step in the Atrium following the service today. We would love to help you find a class, group or personal spiritual growth plan!

0 6 Jesus series, part one // PASTOR MATT ANDERSON [@ANDERSONMATT]

“The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy. I have come that you might have life and have it to the full.” — Jesus (John 10:10)

Jesus: __________________________, __________________________ and ___________________________.

notes | questions | scripture | doodles | thoughts

Throughout His short public career Jesus spoke and acted as if He was in charge. Jesus did things people didn’t think you were allowed to do, and He explained them by saying He had the right to do them. He wasn’t, after all, merely a teacher, though of course He was that too—in fact, one of the greatest teachers the world has ever known. — NT Wright

Regardless of what anyone may personally think or believe about Him, Jesus of Nazareth has been the dominant figure in the history of Western Culture for almost twenty centuries. — Yale historian, Jaroslav Pelikan

When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at His teaching, for He taught with real authority—quite unlike their teachers of religious law. — Matthew 7:28-29

This week: Read Matthew 5:1 - Matthew 7:29 each day.Pay attention to which phrase stands out to you. Why do you think that particular phrase stands out? Could there be something about God, the world or your life that Jesus is pointing toward? Is a change of heart or mind or action needed?
