Worship Opportunities SUNDAY 10:00 AM - Sunday School 11:00 AM - Morning Worship (Children's Church ages 3-5) SUNDAY EVENING SERVICES Sunday evening services will resume in November 2017. WEDNESDAY NIGHT 7:00 PM - Adult Bible Study 7:00 PM - Youth Bible Study 7:00 PM - Kids4Christ (ages 3 - completed 6th grade) WMU Tuesday, July 11 th 6:00 p.m. Brotherhood Sunday, July 9 th 5:00 p.m. The month of June has slipped by us very quickly. In reflecting over the last few weeks, I can see God working through us as a church. As we continue to pray and seek God’s will for our lives, pray that He will show us what we can do to bring honor and glory to His name. We need to continue to be the most joyous people in the community and show others the love of Jesus through our Christian lives. As I look back on the month, I am thankful for our Godly fathers and am thankful that God gave me a Christian father. I am thankful, like many of you, that I have a heritage that I need to continue to pass on to my children. I am thankful for our Heavenly Father who loves each one of us unconditionally. I want to thank the Special Events Committee for the time spent preparing the Father and Daughter banquet. June also brought much anticipated graduation celebrations. I want to take the time to congratulate all our graduates. We want you each to know that we are praying for you as you begin this next phase in your lives. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Isn’t it good to know that He holds our future in his hands? Our youth took a summer trip to Kentucky and visited the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter during the month of June as well. What a great experience! Having an opportunity to see the Bible come to life before our very eyes was amazing. When you see one of our youth, ask them about their trip and something they learned. You’ll be interested to hear what they have to say. Our month ended with a very successful VBS and I want to tell all our teachers, our leaders, and everyone that sacrificed their time that you are greatly appreciated! The two young people that asked the Lord into their hearts made all the preparation well worth every minute. And only Heaven knows what seeds were planted in other children’s hearts during this week. Thank you all so much! As we celebrate July 4 th this year take time to pray for our country’s leaders, as we are in perilous times. Just remember this, God is still on the throne and He is still in control. All we must do is continue to trust and seek Him daily. Know that we love you and are praying for your daily.
