JPICH/JHEP PILOT CALL:

Peer review evaluation process

Each proposal is assessed by two evaluators (for proposal with

total budget < 150 Keuro) or three evaluators (for proposal with

total budget > 150 Keuro), chosen by the List of Experts. Based

on these evaluations, a preliminary ranking list is prepared.

The JPI/JHEP Scientific Committee will review the ranking list

based on the evaluations and recommend to the Signatories of

the MoU, a list of proposals to be funded.

The Signatories of the MoU will take the final decision on the

proposals to be funded on a consensus basis, based on the

recommendations of the Scientific Committees. They will discuss

and approve the recommended projects according to the

ranking list and the available budget.

ACTION PROGRAMME

• The AP is the first step in implementing the SRA

• AP will be a document which, starting from the SRA,

gives tools ansd topics for implementation

• Tools will be enabling activities, such as joint calls,

networking, knowledge sharing, mobility of researchers,

infrastructure etc.

• Topics will be derived mainly from the SRA. In addition

input from MS which topics in their own country are most

apt for collaboration because of content and urgency will

be considered.

ACTION PROGRAMME

The following steps were followed for the AP preparation:

Questionnaire to harvest information from JPI Partners

and members of Advisory Board and Scientific Committee

This questionnaire was distributed after consultation of

various partners

The results and other information were merged in a

matrix, which can be a basic format

Also, results of a workshop were harvested

Page 17: WP3 Implementation of Joint Programming Initiativejpi-ch.eu/.../03JHEP-Mid-Term_WP3_Implementation-JPICH1.pdf · 2013-05-22 · JHEP Mid-Term Assessment Meeting 2 Brussels, 16 May

17JHEP Mid-Term Assessment MeetingBrussels, 16 May 2013

ACTION PROGRAMME

The next step will be a draft version of the AP:

This will consist of a written texst (an explanation of why

and how) and lists of enablers and topics

JPI Participants should use their National Consultation

Panels; NL will lead by example

Advisory Board and Scientific Committee will also be

consulted again.

Following the SRA adoption in March 2013:

AP draft will be ready for JHEP-JPI meeting October 2013

AP (Deliverable 3.1) ready by December 2013

COOPERATION (Environment & ICT), ACTIONS (E-infrasctructures “DC-NET”)

• Art 185 Initiatives

EUREKA/EUROSTARS

• COST

Until now COST has funded 3 COST Networks concerning coordination of research activities

in the area of cultural heritage. There is also 1 running COST Action in the same area that will

be completed in 2016.

• Structural Funds (also known as Cohesion Policy or Regional Policy)

CEN is an international non-profit association grouping 33 national Standards committees

Among others, it has Technical Committee 346 dealing with Conservation of CulturalHeritage

A substantial number of standards considered as drafts or final versions

– European Construction Technology Platform (born within FP7)

An ETP is an industry-led stakeholder forum charged with defining research priorities in abroad range of technological areas

ECTP addresses Construction

It has FACH, a focus area addressing CH

FACH contributes to CEN/TC 346

Conservation of CH acknowledged as a cohesion factor, but focus on EEB
