Structure of a Goal

• Condition – Describe the situation in which the student will perform the behavior

• Materials, settings, accommodations

• Student’s Name• Clearly Defined Behavior

– Describe behavior in measurable, observable terms, use action verbs• What will she/he actually do?

• Performance Criteria– The level the student must demonstrate for mastery (How well?)

– Number of times needed to demonstrate mastery (How consistently?)

– Evaluation schedule (How often?)
