Morgan Engelhart agnesian.com Hello, I’m Morgan Engelhart. I work at Agnesian HealthCare as a wellness coordinator. Health and wellness became a big part of my life when I started running cross country, and track & field in middle school. I enjoyed the competitive, team aspect of the sport so much that I decided to continue to run at the collegiate level. In the fall 2010, I began my collegiate career in cross country at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Being involved in athletics at UW-Oshkosh led me to pursue my degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise and fitness. As an athlete, I wanted to learn about how to keep my body healthy and fuel it properly while competing at a high intensity. As my passion for exercise and fitness grew, I wanted to gain some real world experience in the field. I interned at Ripon Medical Center in Cardiac Rehabilitation during the final semester of my senior year. The internship allowed me to utilize the knowledge I had gained during college to educate patients on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. My internship in Cardiac Rehabilitation opened my eyes to the importance of nutrition and how it affects the heart. It has become a passion of mine to educate my friends, family and the community about nutrition, exercise, goal setting and learning how to live their healthiest life! I am a Certified Worksite Wellness Specialist through the National Wellness Institute. To keep myself healthy, I enjoy experimenting with vegetarian options, exploring new hiking trails, competing in road races, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to working with you on your journey to whole health and wellness! Engelhart can be contacted by calling (920) 926-5759.
