ARMSCOR TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
The Armscor Talent Development Programme is a development initiative that gives meaningful work experience to young, passionate graduates that have just completed their university studies. The graduates are exposed to a myriad of exciting and innovative opportunities available in the organisation and the broader defence industry.
Criteria for selection:
§ An engineering or science qualification
§ In-service training completed (P1 and P2)
§ No previous work experience
§ Self-starter, driven and patriotic

ABOUT ARMSCOR ARMSCOR BURSARY SCHEME
Armscor is an acquisition agency for the South African Department of Defence and other organs of state.
Armscor is renowned for its acquisition expertise in providing defence turnkey solutions, which encompasses technology development, product development and support, product upgrading, as well as disposal of equipment. Its research and development function focuses on producing cutting-edge technology products.
The organisation prides itself on maintaining high-quality international standards through rigorous testing and evaluation processes on all its technology management projects.
Armscor is offering bursaries for studies to suitably qualified South African learners who are in their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of study, to register at a South African university or university of technology. First-time applicants must have achieved good results in Grade 12 in Mathematics, Science, and English (achievement levels of 5, 6 and 7).

An Armscor bursary covers the following:
§ Tuition fees
§ Accommodation and meals
§ Prescribed books
§ Mentoring and coaching
§ Vacation work
§ Psychosocial support in the form of individual counselling
Requirements:
§ Candidates must have an interest in working in the defence industry.
§ Candidates must have achieved good results in Mathematics, Science and English.
