The Awakening Survey
• Recommendations (4 of them)…
1. Vision and Mission:
– Vision for the future needs to be communicated clearly, loudly, effectively and often.
– The Mission statement of RLC needs the same.

The Awakening Survey
Recommendations (continued)
2. Facilities:
– Current facilities being used effectively there is no room for growth. Lack of facilities will impede future mission.
– Develop interim and long range solutions for adequate facilities to meet anticipated growth.

The Awakening Survey
Recommendations (continued)
3. Stewardship:
– RLC needs to do more to help people learn how to be generous with their financial resources and to grow giver’s hearts.
– Seek out and recognize people’s time, talent and spiritual gifts.
– Assign or hire a volunteer coordinator.
– Implement an endowment fund.

The Awakening Survey
Recommendations (continued)4. Relocation:
– Because of external factors beyond the congregation’s control relocation is something that will happen.
– There is a strong enough sentiment in the congregation for the leaders to aggressively pursue the purchase of new property in order to relocate.
